...Krvavka... Edina, you gave me a challenge, but the fog was too thick to go to Golica. Krvavka was quite sufficient. The hut under Golica will open on 30 April. At 20:00 the bonfire starts, announcement PD Jesenice. Above Fenc there are already some narcissi, on the top there's still lots of snow, especially on the Austrian side. nasmeh

- Avalanche debris below the hut, possibly passable

- This is how the hut looked in the morning, not very encouraging

- On the top of Krvavka it's no different

- On the way back to the hut the valley was already clearing up

- Just for such a pleasure it was worth coming up here

- Have you ever noticed that the hut is visible from the lower station of the cargo cableway

- This is a pleasure when clouds race and the Julian Alps appear

- Pity we're already in the valley, but the top is still foggy

Tomorrow I'd like to go to Golica, after a long unplanned break. I'd start from Križovec, that will be enough for my slightly smaller lungs for now nasmeh

Is the road to Križovec normally drivable? Thanks for answers.

Great, so another 14 days or so at unchanged conditions we need to wait for the narcissi.

The road from Javorniški Rovt to Križovec is drivable, just make sure the views of narcissi don't distract you from it.

I went today past the hut up and down via Krvavka and Suha and didn't see such narcissuses.

I went up via Suha and down past the hut. Narcissi are today's, taken above Javorniški rovt just above the road. Happy trails.

Edina, I really haven't been there. But I'd mention that from Golica summit you can see narcissi above Plavški rovt. And one more thing - did we maybe meet between Suha and Krvavka?

Janez quite possible, because today there were quite a few hikers around Golica. Also in the hut, where there's a new caretaking team this year, they're prepared for May 1st visitors. Apparently they'll even light a bonfire tonight.

.....Narcissi.... Above Fenc in Planina pod Golico the meadow has already bloomed. A bit higher the narcissi are still in buds. On the forest slopes under Mala Golica there are already some blooming flowers. From Suha saddle along the ridge mostly still buds. At the beginning a bit larger. Then somewhere in the middle between the saddle and Mala Golica a small oasis of already blooming narcissi. Under Mala Golica, where it's always the nicest, the buds are still very small. I think narcissi will bloom after May 25. Maybe if very warm weather after May 20. Today it was freezing. All winter gear came out of the backpack. Snow is only left between the ridges of Krvavka and Golica. And before Golica summit there's a little valley full of snow. The hut is open, friendly caretakers Katarina and Bojana invite you to visit. Today they had their hands full, stocking up food and drinks. nasmeh

- Travnik above Fenc is full of narcissus

- Bellflowers through the forest to Suha saddle

- At the beginning of the path from Suha saddle

- Somewhere in the middle between the saddle and Mala Golica a small oasis of already blooming narcissi

- This is how they look below Mala Golica

- Also here below Krvavka along the path there are only narcissus buds

- Snow between the ridge of Krvavka and Golica

- Icy wind along the ridge and on Golica, the rope had a special sound

- The last part of the path to the hut has been washed away, it is necessary to direct the step a bit lower

- Friendly caretakers Katarina and Bojana invite you to visit them

We were at the summit on Saturday 17.5. We went via the path to Rožca along the western ridge path to the top. Above Jekljevo sedlo there were a few as a sample, otherwise on the second meadow above Fenc quite a few. On Planina pod Golico almost none left.

From Suho sedlo, that's when you come from Pusti rovt, along the ridge towards Golica on the left full of them. I was yesterday.

I was on Golica today 22.5, not a single daffodil from hut on Golica to top of Golica. Only on right ridge some. What I saw only on meadows above hut at Fenc.

Today with husband on Golica, we went over Suha saddle and somehow midway on meadows daffodils are, only on summit part none, weather wonderful, only very strong wind blowing, attaching some today's pics
