This afternoon on Golica. Day pleasantly warm, at the top light breeze. Went up the winter path and back the normal one. Both paths are dry.

What was said doesn't apply to the lower path from Suha saddle. In the gullies there are still remains of snow avalanches with soil deposits and fallen trees and you have to make a "detour". Better and nicer to head to the ridge at the saddle and continue along the ridge.

Don't rely too much on PZS website, sometimes it doesn't hold, better to call the manager's phone number, that info is really on PZS site.
Sometimes data not updated and wrong on site.

I went once to see the narcissi and there, where the path goes, everything was somewhat torn up and crumpled, but as I found out, if they are picked more food goes to the bulb; maybe I'm wrong, but +++ in reproduction.
Once at home I transplanted crowns, got them from another part of the property and planted the bulbs; now a whole bunch grows there.

Already two years in a row going during bloom time to these areas, not just Golica, but traverse - jump to other peaks too, last year through Medvedji dol, through Struško to Golica, ...
This year from other end, maybe Klek..., of course tour must arrange transport back to start.
Anyone have advice?

I'd like to follow up on this question... is it possible to connect Stol and Golica somehow in one day for average hikers (say combination with two cars), how many hours does the route take and which variants do you recommend.

Last year went Javorniški Rovt-Struška-Skalaška path-Vajnež-Stol-Valvasor and back on path to Javorniški Rovt, route seemed quite long to me, so I think if you leave one car here one there it'll work.
