Otiv, you've documented this wonderfully and timely. I went to Golica via the ridge path, sadly only in the afternoon. Still, the conditions are visible from the link, the daffodils I admired and smelled today in the neighboring Rovt...

Thanks, Edina. I like mornings and since I didn't exactly know the positions of the daffodil fields I was right at sunrise on the Rovt and had time for scouting. A friendly local walking her dog helped with tips.

Through photos I wanted to show our beautiful floral fairy tale unfolding on rovts below Golica. Hope I captured some shots with main character - daffodil.

Yesterday on Golica and Struški. Path to Golica is dry, on Struški there is still quite a lot of snow (today sinking up to knees). Otherwise nice hike, recommend, narcissus under Mala Golica not yet. Nice regards

In current conditions for Rovts under Golica the most desired info is surely about narcissus and I did it well supported by my photos, only the scent I couldn't conjure. velik nasmeh

Thanks for the beautiful pictures...we plan to go to Golica on Saturday...wondering if there is still snow up there and if you could tell us what weather they forecast for Saturday there.

No snow anymore. Outlook: Saturday variable to mostly cloudy. Occasional rain, more often in the western areas. Possible thunderstorms. Southwest wind. So not exactly ideal. mrk pogled

How is the passability of the road to Suha saddle or can one drive to the saddle?

The road is currently passable. The most annoying part is at the start of Pusti Rovt, where last year it was occasionally not possible to pass.

Narcissi...
... Markeljnova planina... intermediate point for admiring narcissi and continuing to the Suha saddle and along the ridge to the slopes below M. Golica. White fields of narcissi certainly not yet this weekend, the next one if sunny. nasmeh
