They're heading to the end. On the saddle between Krvavka and Mala Golica there are still some, elsewhere none anymore, hurry.

Also from Golica towards Klek there are some. But these and those under Krvavka are already a bit wilted.

Today I was on the closest mountain to me - Golica, the mountain that became world-famous thanks to today's deceased legend of folk entertainment music Slavko Avsenik. Conditions excellent, I would praise PD Jesenice for arranging the summer path to the hut.

I'd like to ask, since I'm going to Golica tomorrow, is the marked trail already fully from the bottom from Jesenice center to the top or do I need to drive higher to Planina pod Golico? And if it's marked by chance from Jesenice center, how long to walk from there to the top?

... aditaker... the sign is already at the health center (a bit before the hospital), which is a bit misleading. You have to add that too, it's meant from Planina pod Golico. Stick to the main road and before Savske jame decide where.. There before the little bridge are signposts. Also, from Jesenice to the hut approx. 3.00 hours.

Majdag can you please describe exactly how I get to that health center in Jesenice if I'm driving on the Gorenjska motorway towards Jesenice, where I exit and how do I then get to the parking at the health center? Or if I can park there at all? Since it's my first time to Jesenice, that's why I'm asking. As for the time, from Jesenice center in this case from the health center about 3.5 hours walk to the top of Golica, if I understood you right?

...Time from Jesenice to the top...If I were walking it would take me approx. 4.20 hours... You have the option to drive to the turnoff for Savske. There on the right is quite a large parking lot and then continue following the signs.

Today a sunny day lured me to Golica.
Start from Pustega rovta to the hut, then to the very top.
It was pleasantly warm, occasionally a little wind blew, no crowds.

Conditions the day before yesterday were excellent for hiking from Planina to Golica and Klek. Snow barely a sample, more only on the NE side of the traverse from Jekljevo sedlo to Klek. Today on Golica from Planina pod Golico. The path is completely spring-like, full of mud, hawkweed is blooming, some daisies can still be found below the summit.

Yesterday on the way to Golica... Crampons were not needed, little snow... Maybe on some sections (especially on the ridge below the summit) a few meters of ice, but everything can be passed without crampons.

Today with PD Škofja Loka to winter Golica. Unfortunately there was no sun. Going up we took the winter path - it is quite steep. Down via the summer path. On the way back we also checked out the Golica climbing areas - a real little paradise for climbers. From the hut onwards there's snow on the path. You can go to the top without crampons. For the descent we put them on.
