A nice sunny day took us to the sunny idyll of visiting Golica. The weather was wonderful
with plenty of snow. We chose the winter approach which went to the hut under Golica on a compacted snow path without sinking. From the hut we went directly up, where there was no track anymore and we had to break it.

Narcissuses are usually on Golica in the second half of May. So at least another month until then. But it will 100% be written here when they are, so you won't miss them.

Yesterday we went to Golica - still quite a lot of snow on the path, even on the summit. No narcissi yet.

Golica was completely blanketed the day before yesterday, so the narcissi will have to wait a little longer

What about this last snow, if I know anything, the ključavnice (narcissuses) were practically right before blooming....did the midweek snowfall destroy them and we won't get to admire them this year?

There are loads of them in Primorska, you can go around Slavnik.

On the slopes of Golica they aren't there yet and won't be for a while, but along some paths they've rushed out, given it snowed just over a week ago. I marvel at them immensely every year anew, especially these first ones we await so impatiently. They really are wonderful, but also sensitive, so take care when you visit them, just enjoy those in the link...

@ločanka, @otiv, I'm glad you both enjoyed the views. The blooming princesses are from Plavški Rovt, the view on Golica is getting less white day by day. First four photos from day before yesterday, the one from Pusti Rovt from yesterday, the last one today's when Golica is almost snowless.
