Yesterday we walked from Planina pod Golico to all three Golica peaks. The narcissi on Mali Golica are preparing for bloom, just here and there some flowers, but in a few days there will be plenty. I recommend a weekend visit. More at: http://www.gore-ljudje.net/novosti/126612/

golica... those narcissi taken on meadow through Savske jame. Under M. Golica not fully bloomed yet. Next week slope white and full of visitors. And all this year's published photos taken lower in Plavški Rovt, Planina pod Golico and around Pristava. Nothing missed yet..

Today on Golica, before the weather worsened.
No Ključavnic-Narcis on the Golica ridge and on Golica yet, but lower near the house at Pristava, where meadows are already nicely blooming.

In recent days, when it finally warmed up as befits the second half of May, (too) many Golica visitors left disappointed, more people on its summit than narcissi  Many blooming, fragrant narcissi,

but currently blooming in fields or patches in rovts under Golica up to around 1400 m, higher still in bud. Due to unpredictable weather, any prediction of when they will bloom on Golica would be uncertain...

How long did it take for the whole loop, and how much to the summit itself? I'm also curious if that path you went up is marked. I've been up many times but always the classic direct way to Koča pod Golico and then to the top; now I'd like to try another variant.

Buha, we go up from Doma Pristava through the saddle to the top of Golica and return past the hut down. Call on 00385 98 250 590 to drink excellent Zagorski gemišt.

Saturday Golica, but not about photos 'cause all beautiful ones already posted, but about time table at Pristava hut where it says GOLICA 2 HOURS, yeah hello for whom, ... total misleading people and hikers.
Sure individuals can do that path in 2 hours, but on hribi.net it's 2 hours 45 min.
Hut on Golica salty prices, WC some 50m from hut, well at least it's there ... and at the end you say yeah that's us Slovenians
We went towards Kočna saddle then thought Struška or Golica ...
Beautiful everywhere, frost damage shows on flowers, also narcissi.

We also joined the narcissus admirers on Golica on Saturday; same as you jprim we wondered at sign at Pristava re walking time to Golica and "figured" probably some locals known "shortcuts"; yeah hut under Golica not modest prices, agree, so nice surprise at Pristava hut; otherwise Golica white-magnificent as always this time, just narcissus green leaves bit brown-edged-wilted; approach from Križevec over Krvavko to top, circular return with stop towards Markljev Rovt; lp
