Today from Planina pod Golico past Korelnov rov and on steep winter path to the hut. On to the top and descent along ridge to Jekljevo sedlo, from there back to hut and on normal path past Betel back. Paths ok, some parts nicely overgrown. Some 100m before cargo cableway station new big clearing, path traceable, also path past clearing marked with green arrows. Lp

Planned elsewhere, but weather made me change my mind. From Križovec over Mala Golica to summit, on return also to Krvavka. Weather a bit mixed, trail o.k., at sedlo Suha nets where ornithologists caught birds to register and ring them, also cameras to capture which bird species fly there. Nice day, pleasant to stretch limbs and air lungs nasmeh

On the winter path to Golica, no snow anywhere, new snow 20-30 cm. On the ridge used ice axe, didn't need crampons. Sat on the top for a while, then it got cold and windy and descended to the saddle also to the eastern peak, there directly down to the hut.

Mado, below Mala Golica they aren't blooming yet, but in full bloom in Plavški Rovt and Javorniški Rovt.nasmeh

On Sunday there were still buds at Suho sedlo. In a few days a lot changes. Usually there are the most around May 25th, if snow doesn't whiten them.velik nasmeh

Hi,

I'm interested in how it is with the road closure on weekends to Planina po Golico? First bus only after 7am, too late for us. Possible to arrive earlier (4-5am) by car without later problems?

From Čop along path past Fenca, then up winter path. Daffodils there, some around hut and higher up, and on Krvavka. Most on Mala Golica all nicely whitened, some buds still, so a few more days. From Golica top along ridge almost to Suha saddle, then path through blooming meadows back to hut and down winter path. Lp

For those who can't walk anymore the road is drivable to sedlo Suha. At start of Pustega rovta some slanted ditches, but can drive over. Enjoy the beauties given to us..nasmeh

Right now the narcissi are still blooming, but not for much longer in their finest flower. Yesterday there were still plenty to admire, that's probably what everyone who headed out on this path yesterday thought too. It was Friday, but the crowds reminded me of weekends.
We parked at Križovcu, then through Pusti rovt, Suho sedlo, Mala Golica, Krvavka to Golica, without skipping any summits. We returned past the hut, continuing from there along the middle path, which felt like a whole new discovery to us.

I thought just like something I read somewhere, that you really ought to come every year at this time to see these beautiful princesses, as Majdag calls them. The world is simply prettier among them!

Hi nasmeh Would some circular route be possible, say start Planina pod Golico - Golica, then over sedlo Suha to Ptičji vrh, and back to the start? Looking at the map it seems doable, but I don't know how it looks in reality... Please give some suggestions nasmeh
