Let me answer, since I was there today. The worst part of the road is right before the junction to Kamniško sedlo, so with a low car it's hard to get to the cableway. Obviously there were a lot of them, as on the return I barely made my way through them parked along the road.
Otherwise hiking to the saddle is a pleasure, the path is nicely groomed thanks to the recent race, in the hut I ran into some foreigners preparing for the ascent. Mine wasn't planned, but I had to go to the top for my gear that I had deposited there for the race, which unfortunately had the finish at the saddle due to bad weather conditions. Up top cold, windy, foggy, so views were greatly limited.
On descent I partially removed rocks and debris from the boulder by the gully, right before entering the forest, which the spring thunderstorm had brought. On it there was a memorial plaque for the deceased, but the rocks smashed it in that evil hour, only the nail remained.

Miko, you can hope the law's eye won't be there. Otherwise you'll see how many hikers wouldn't pass the driving exam for not knowing the sign of such strict driving ban.

We followed the rules and parked before the sign, right at the bus stop. To the lower cableway station our legs were just right warmed up so we ascended without issue.

Yesterday my dear and I, who by the way had her birthday too, decided to conquer Grintovec via Kokrško and further over Mlinarsko sedlo. According to the forecast we didn't expect problems since slightly worse weather was supposed to be more to the west. That was probably the reason for quite a nice number of visitors. At least to Kokrško sedlo. Had to park a bit lower at the junction because further towards the freight cable car they are repairing the road. At Kokrško sedlo another hiker joined us who went the same path. To the bivouac nothing special, further the fog thickened and the wind strengthened. From Mlinarsko sedlo onwards along the ridge to the summit very strong gusts appeared among the wind. After a fairly short stop descent follows, spiced by quite strong rain. To top it off in thick fog we missed the path. We weren't the only ones and with the help of the GPS track which our companion had we quickly found the path. In the winter room at Kokrško sedlo quite a few of us gathered and after a short break and refreshment headed to the valley. Despite not too friendly weather we, satisfied with the day and the tour which was again something special stopped also for birthday dinner at Gorjan. Pika.
