How far can you get with a regular car (laguna) on the road, forest path? Highest possible starting point, parking? The hike isn't short and some 100 meters more by car, especially on the descent back, helps a lot. Can you currently go higher than the house in Kamniška Bistrica? Thanks for any tip.

From the Kokriški end, or from Suhadolnik, you can probably go even higher, practically you park 10 min walk from the hut

At least to the Jermanca junction it's fine (a week ago). I don't know if you can drive right to Konca - they recently wrote on the forum that they're repairing something right in Konca. lp

On Tuesday they were fixing torrent culverts before cable car station. (they have quite some work left)
Road is sorted, with car to junction for Kam. sedlo, furthest to Žagana peč.

Today on Grintovec via Gamsov skret. Around lower cable car station lots of cars parked. Road is "closed" a bit past Jermanca junction but totally drivable normally.
Path via skret also top maintained, with a nearly new ladder.

Was there today, up Čez Jame and Dolge stene, down through Streha and to Bistrico.
From cable car onwards path becomes sugary, but no problems if you step properly. Roughly when forest starts thinning, path fully covered with light snow layer, which increases slightly to the saddle all the way. Didn't use crampons on ascent, some did, but still advise taking them. If weather conditions favourable, those few cm can ice up right away and since layer quite shallow, can't rely on kicking soles and making steps. From Skuta/Grintovec sign snow packed. Don't know morning conditions further from Spodnje Jame, turned to east wall there.
Actually planned Čez Jame, but near Srednje Jame pulled right to SE ridge. At Zgornje Jame decided to climb to ridge and continue to Streha along it. Safety-wise not bad decision, as huge seracs overlook Streha. None broke, but always some small stuff falling. At ridge end went through gap between seracs to Streha.
Noon/early afternoon Streha actually torn up in main gully. Dry snow can be hard in morning though.
