Last weekend via Dolge stene. In not exactly ideal conditions. Ridge in fog the whole time. Without several kilometers on pathless terrain....would turn back right away in those conditions (or not even leave the path).
Via Streha much more traffic though. Not to mention all the hustle in the valley already early.

Colleague was up today. Don't know exactly where snow starts, but Streha is fully snow-covered and at least 30 cm on top. No winter gear used, snow already soft, but 100 km/h wind on summit nasmeh

Today to Grintovec from Kamniška Bistrica. Trail without issues, no snow, but conditions change tomorrow.

Today from Suhadolnik to Grintovec. Road to Suhadolnik icy in places and parking only for 2-3 cars. Winter gear mandatory from 1200m on. More in pics nasmeh

From here winter equipment is mandatory - I didn't go over Taško but along the old path

Above 1300 meters Kočna and Grintovec appear

A bit awkward section due to southern snow

But I still have 200 height meters of the roof ahead.

4 hours of hiking for 2 minutes at the top :) severnik was too diligent.

I'm already back... streha illuminated by the last rays.

Friday Grintovec. Overslept the alarm and late start, missed nice views and fell into fog mrk pogled

Crampons on at 1400-1500m. Road to Konec very icy, so it'll be hard to shorten the path. Didn't paste the whole story here nasmeh

On Saturday 15.1. we were on Grintavec. We came via Kočna and the south slopes were pure concrete in the morning (both hills), even at 1 pm the summit roof dropped just 1 cm. North sides are a chapter of their own. Hard, icy, any fall almost impossible to stop even with ice axes. On Friday evening below 1500 m total south-facing and warm foehn blowing. The path was more icy on Saturday afternoon than on Friday at 10 pm. In short, be careful and must with proper 12-point crampons.

A bit late ... last Saturday from Suhadolnik to Grintovec. Chose uncrowded (winter) tour on purpose and spot on. Parking only 3 cars and whole ascent to saddle above hut no soul met. Lower Streha met two who did 2-day K-G. Chatted bit and went separate.
Conditions ok morning, later windcrust and sinking. But snow visibly settling. Oh, gorgeous views, blue sky no cloud and grin ear to ear. Good luck nasmeh
