Well, won't get past home by car anyway, so gotta go on foot from there... then hope you'll hear Bobnar from Brana somewhere near Žagana peči... that sound really makes you think and reconsider going up in such conditions. And give GRS some peace with right decisions. Otherwise everyone knows how they'll decide and answer for their actions accordingly; we're old enough, right.

Well, maybe better to write towards Grintavec, not to Grintavec... Nice trekking from home to the avalanche part under Cojzova koča. Would've gone further, but fog and late hour stopped me. Spent some precious time in lower part, forest, looking for markers... Repeat soon

That roe deer was seen quite close. If it was less than 10-20 meters away and didn't run anywhere, it was sadly probably in the last hours or days of its life.

Conditions purely wintry. Crampons and ice axe mandatory. From 1450m onwards all gear mandatory, even just to the saddle!! From 2000m onwards real pleasure walking on hard crust that doesn't sink at all.
