It's worth checking, the candle is ca 10+ m, at least in my opinion the middle part is 90+ degrees. When you're past the shower, change gloves jezen, I will next time.

Yesterday in the waterfalls in Pekel. Relatively well formed...The longest one was a bit wet, otherwise the ice kr hard...

Since I didn't feel like walking today and because on Tuesday I got fed up with climbing waterfalls, I went to satisfy them today in the Kokra valley. First I went to En x slap (that's its name), which is really cool. Approach along the frozen stream, descent left through steep forest. Then I moved a bit higher to Slap pod Kanonirjem, which didn't have much ice. I descended via another gully left back to the start.

Due to slightly worse weather this time we didn't wander into the high mountains, according to the forecast it will wait for us a bit longer. Instead we (this time we were in female company - and yes finally at least similar to people!) drove to Pekel near Borovnica ... despite slightly worse conditions we nicely slid to the parking lot, which was still empty when we arrived. Along the summer hiking path we went up past the first small waterfall (all marked with signs), which is not for climbing and after about 30m reached the second waterfall - here our climbing for today started. Waterfall nicely frozen, ice just right hard ... no spraying or breaking through. These conditions held through all 5 waterfalls and also in between in the gully. Ice in the gully started to get perforated just before the last waterfall, but that wasn't noteworthy. Really nice is the fourth waterfall, finger-licking good ... not too hard, but not too easy either. At the top there's already a driven piton for belaying and an auxiliary rope attached.

In a good hour we climbed all the waterfalls then along the summer path - slide (little snow, lots of leaves and roots) carefully slid back to the valley to the warm. On the way back we met more groups, which were tackling the peklenšček that day nasmeh

Koroški waterfalls. I'm going to the ice too, first to check how it is. At the beginning small waterfalls 3-4 m were climbed, later I reach a somewhat bigger one and tackle it too, after climbing up the bed to the biggest waterfall all along the walls lots of ice and thought if only someone belayed me, I'd climb that one. I bypass the big one above the big one again one in two parts, climb the first and return, further only with belay. Adrenaline was working full on nasmeh

Today with my brother we climbed some waterfalls in Iški Vintgar. I'm wondering which one this is, if anyone knows, or whoever knows. On the path from home 10 min further on the cart track and right into the gully. It's pretty high in the gully. Further up there was nothing more as far as waterfalls. Two pitches. Thanks and best.

Course participants and alpinists invite you to ice climbing competition which will be in Zgornja Žetina (from Poljan above Škofja Loka take to Javorje and further behind Črni kal below Blegoš) starting at 17.00; also invited other visitors who can try this interesting and attractive sport.
