Which Italian firm has smaller sizes. Try Scarpa or La Sportiva shoes at Iglu. The problem might be that the shoes are too narrow (at least I have that problem, because I have a small and wide foot).

Hi! I've always had quite a few problems with blisters from new high hiking boots, and also later when they were broken in. This spring I bought high Proalp ones, slightly tested them on Šmarna gora, then seriously on the loop Dolga njiva - Košutnikov turn - Škrbina - descent to lower path - Dolga njiva. All together a bit over 7 hours and not one rub, let alone a blister. For me they're super! Best regards to all!

@zdomec My girlfriend bought gojzarje at Sports Direct (BTC hall A) for 35€. They look well made. She wore them for the first time and we went for 4h into the hills. No blisters and thrilled. She has a size a bit larger than yours. But the box says kids model, so they should have smaller ones too.

Hello, I'm just buying new hiking boots. Among others, I looked at the following model from La Sportiva: http://www.iglusport.si/?mod=store&action=viewProduct&action_id=18817&language=sl Of course I have to try the model first to see if it fits my foot. But I'm worried about the following: from a colleague I heard that with this brand the sole rubber can wear very (too) quickly (with mostly rock walking). Since I really have no experience with this brand, I'd ask for opinions from those who tried it. Thanks and best regards.

Top boots. Rubber wears? Of course it wears, it's not eternal... Exceptional boot for climbing.

Rubber wears out, but there's no problem replacing it I have a very similar boot (Trango Evo GTX), and no complaints regarding quality.

That the rubber wears out, that's not bad information... it means the boot also "breaks in"... A car tire that has some driving seasons behind it and still has lots of tread isn't a good tire... Personally, I'll hardly change this brand

If talking generally about the brand.. depends.. I wasn't satisfied with Boulder X.. otherwise they fit my feet super, but that after four months the rubber opens (front) isn't quite normal (claim rejected). And the sole after 30 tours already very poor... thought I was a unique case, but exactly the same happened to colleague.. For winter boots can't give opinion yet, but according to others, really 1A boots

It's perfectly clear to me that rubber wears with use and I didn't ask that way. In my question I clearly wrote that I heard that according to some experiences rubber wears quite too fast. I think everyone can judge what is normal and what too fast wear regarding intensity of use. Anyway, thanks to all who wrote useful opinions.

Hey, look, if the boot fits your foot, buy it. Don't stress about the rubber, you won't destroy it in one season. I've had mine for the fifth or sixth year, and the rubber thickness is still satisfactory. It probably wears a bit faster than on previous boots (Sportiva Tibet), but it's not critical. You can also try the Garmont boot in Iglu (around 165 eur), or go to Annapurna to try Hanwag, which they also praise highly

... or in Pohodnik Meindl, which has the ONLY small sizes.

Meindl is an excellent boot, but for women there's not much if you're looking for winter boots.. I have the Himalaya MFS model, a fantastic boot the best is to go to stores and try what fits your foot best
