Here, a real homemade salami from Žužemberk, home-raised pigs. The host also had sausages and homemade lard that melted under the knife when he cut a piece. He says that if production increases, all quality quickly ends.

Really looks like healthy eating. Voucher for heart surgeon visit probably included?

Again sausaging nonsense. Some lady finally lowered bad cholesterol to minimum with homemade natural pork lard, after failed doctor prescriptions. What's homemade doesn't harm .

Meat, pork fat, boiled eggs, tuna, butter, veggies, cottage cheese etc. these are all TOP things in diet, if homemade even better. No one will ever have health issues because of this. Problem is most eat/drink besides this or in daily diet also bread, fruit, margarine, drinks, which isn't best choice, some call them "trash". 2010 had 115kg, today 77kg.

OK lg. Partially agree, but those drinks need some breakdown too, since people need fluids even more than food. Besides diet change you probably started exercising more after 2010. Plainly said you started burning calories, it shows. Anyway I have similar weight ratio once 95kg, today 58kg. Didn't change eating style but quantity, eat practically everything.

And this is unhealthy too. Better eat occasionally for holidays.

Homemade potica, the best, like other homemade treats, as long as moderate enjoyment is no problem.

I had some ground walnuts left and decided to bake another potica. They say you learn a lot with practice. This time I scalded the ground walnuts for the first time with sour cream and real coffee. The dough I always make according to the recipe written on the Mlinotest flour bag. It rises nicely for me.

I think the notion of "healthy food" in books, dictionaries, encyclopedias (and also in general perception) needs a little adjustment, because Hribi.net have decided that it mainly includes - if we look from beginning to end - bread, sausages and abundance of sweetish pastries. Bon appétit!

What is healthy today? I prefer something I make myself and know what I eat even if it's so unhealthy and caloric. Overeating hasn't helped anyone. You have to sort it out in your head whether you eat to live or the other way around. Then everything is easier. People who watch healthy eating a lot get sick. More than unhealthy food our stressful lifestyle affects diseases.

darinka4, with what you last wrote I completely agree. Completely in everything. But that doesn't change the very strange image of the section titled "healthy food", if it's really flooded with foods that are absolutely less healthy than some others.

Samok, only in this potica are walnuts, which rank among the healthiest foods, because they contain healthy omega 3 fats, which are good even for cholesterol, heart, vision, brain. Nothing to criticize!

I didn't criticize potica, I criticize the section title. I suggest title "I like to cook" or "Good dishes" or "Homemade is good". Just not "Healthy nutrition", which starts with bread, ends with potica, and sausages in between!
