We hope for inversion, fog down below, clear skies above and temperatures over 10 degrees. On northern sides it might not melt it, on southern ones I think it will still be snow-free at least on some higher summits. Nature always surprises, we'll see.

Snow conditions in the morning ideal, but due to fairly high temperatures and sun they deteriorate quickly. By 10am it's good to return already below the ridge wall. Quite little snow so climbing is often difficult, snow breaking on rocks when you don't know there's rock below, rocks rolling when you step up due to too little snow, etc.

You better stay quiet, they've rescued you 2x. Warning is in place before someone decides to go up tomorrow, Sunday, that conditions are very very difficult.

Due to injury of one climbing partner descent wasn't safe. While waiting if we could treat the injury to descend safely, the snow also deteriorated heavily. No other choice. GRS guys said it was the only smart move.

I personally wouldn't publish such an ascent. Especially since the other side of the story was omitted. No hard feelings.

The forum is for "conditions in mountains". This was also posted (amount and state of the snow cover) with advice that hikers descend by 10am. The other part of the story basically doesn't belong in this forum, at most under "accidents in mountains"!!

If a helicopter ever has to pick me up, I'd rather not post pictures up to the moment of my own rescue in the style of how nice an ascent we made, then lecture others on what's right and advise them.

Oh Matej....maybe it would really be smarter to sometimes wait a bit with the comment and think...anyone can find themselves in trouble and no one is immune to accidents..
Basically we're all adults and we answer for our own actions in case of accident, parents for underage antics
It's easiest to raise the neighbor's kid, I think better wait till yours grow up
