What interests you? Snow conditions? From the valley it looks like most snow is gone, I assume patches of snow start below Spodnje Kališče, the rest is mostly bare since the path runs on the southern slope.

Today after a long time I decided for Kališče again. It's Sunday, I'll be in Mače in a blink, I thought. First shock in Šenčur - torn up road. Somehow I make it to Tupaliče. They’ll have new asphalt there too. I turn around and instead towards Breg - I explore half of Gorenjska. I get to Preddvor - oo, horror, another roadblock. I manage from behind the elementary school. Well, when I finally get to Mače, above them the road is so torn up that even a tractor would struggle.
I made up some lost time with faster pace and drowned the anger in two beers at Goran...

Yesterday with Nessy on the "very steep" to Kališče. I forgot it's so steep and the steepness doesn't stop for a while Then joining the marked path between H. Bošt and Kališče. From there to the hut, where there weren't many visitors, but lots of paragliders in the air. Descent on the marked to Mače BP. Good for moving and fitness

After a long break today to the once very popular and visited (on winter weekends) mountain outpost. Roadblocks are remembered only by the last hundred meters of road before the turnoff to Preddvor, where the top asphalt layer is still missing. Above Mače right to the little bridge the road is bare and nicely arranged. No wind, no frost, path dry right up to the left bend just below little Kališče. There I chose the 'ridge' one, where there's much less ice than on the marked path, which I found out on the way back. For the latter I recommend metal aids, especially on descent. Tea at 1.5€, my buddy and I were alone in the hut???

The arrow on the last picture is a bit unfortunate. When there was no road here yet, the path was nicely visible and trodden, now everyone prefers the road since it only lengthens the path by a few dozen meters.
Yesterday I went up too, quite a few visitors, all of us were sunbathing in front of the hut. The path bare and dry all the way to Sp. Kališče. Higher up it's icy in several places, so at least on descent crampons are recommended. Some people headed further to Storžič, where winter gear is mandatory, although the view of the mountain from below is completely springlike.

On Saturday after lunch, to burn off some calories from the abundance of food, with Blue and Nessy a little around to Kališče. From the parking in Mače we head towards Hudiček, where after less than an hour a unmarked path branches left to Kozjek. From there marked to the hut on Kališče.
Of the snow only some patches left, just enough for the dogs to cool off a bit. Wind wasn't too bad, but scree got us below Spodnje Kališče. We warm up and refresh in the hut, then back to the car in Mače. Nicely spent afternoon, fitness is returning too

Instead of a walk, morning sauna, as there was a huge amount of moisture in the air. Otherwise we went from Bašelj only to Lower Kališče, but to get moving before work it was fine

We'll avoid that hut henceforth, no notices anywhere that it's closed, water at trough before hut closed too, well at least for animals....
Good hour's drive to starting point, then, is it the season?
