Bravo Stanko, very nice. On Sunday I did only one part of this tour, Špičje remains a wish for later! Good luck!

My wife and I also did the turco on 8.8.2014, starting point Planina Blato, Planina Dedno polje, behind Kopica, Kanjavec (our goal), Dolič, Velo polje, Mišelski preval, Lazovški preval, Planina Laz, Planina Blato.
All together not demanding, but physically and at the end mentally quite strenuous. For the mentioned with stops I needed 13h 19min (from Planina Laz to Planina Blato the path descends abnormally long and my legs were burning so much that I walked more with the help of poles cool).
I would add a warning. Between Vrh Vrat and crossing to Hribarice under Vršaki there are some snowfields, when crossing one of them great caution is needed, there is great danger of slip which wouldn't end well. Similarly on the way to Kanjavec there are still many snowfields, some can be bypassed, others not, but here no major dangers, markings are in very bad condition.
One needs to be especially careful between Mišelski and Lazovški preval, one part goes along goat path which is eroded over some 10m and full of very slippery soil, slope is very steep and long.

Hello, mountaineers. Please, one piece of information. With the family we would like to conquer Kanjavec from Zadnjica (via Prehodavce) at the end of the week. Is there any dangerous snowfield on the way that we would have to cross? Thanks for the answer and sunny greetings.

Call the Zasavska koča at Prehodavci, there they will surely have the most up-to-date info..

Hi Barand, look at my photo, taken on Friday 8.8.14. This is the view back to Hribarice, direction Prehodavci.
The snowfield needs to be crossed several times on the way, but except one (visible on the photo bottom right, no problem; on this one choose the crossing lower, where there is no slope yet and there shouldn't be problems. Higher it's quite steep and greater caution is needed.

Has anyone recently walked the path from Zelnarica or Za Kopico over Hribarice to Kanjavec and then Dolič? Does the mentioned snowfield still persist or is it fully passable without winter gear?

Thanks all.

Today I visited it. The path to Kopica is a bit snowy with all kinds of snow, but a lot is bare so winter gear is not yet necessary. Also under Vršaci it is a bit wintry, but it causes no major problems. It was a nice daynasmeh

Yesterday was really a nice day on Kanjavec. There is quite a bit of ice in these areas and snow in some places. We met mukica, whom I thank again for all the useful information mežikanje

Hi. Is anyone going these days or today to Kanjavec via Komar and past Dolič? Would you share if there's snow on the path? Or at least if the path from Dolič to the top is snowy ... Thanks a lot in advance.

Two-day tour in Julian Alps. Start from Rudno polje to Planina Velo polje, then ascent through snowy part to Hribarice, quick hop to Kanjavec in between, then descent to Zasavska koča na Prehodavcih where we bivouacked. Morning continued through Triglav Lakes valley, then path to Pl. Ovčarija and Pl. Viševnik, short stop there (hunger :P), then to Pl. Blato where tour ended. Top shit company and tour velik nasmeh

On Saturday April 11th my friend and I headed to Kanjavec.
Starting point Krma from where towards Bohinjska vrata. Follows descent past Vodnik to Velo polje then along Velska dolina to Kanjavec. Summit some wind, otherwise sun...snow accordingly soupy...
Skiing real spring treat, especially up top, lower bit harder as everything literally flowed...temp quite high.
Took skis off bit above treeline and walked to start...

In video below see how it went...hard to fit full day tour in just over 6 min nasmeh
Best, Rok
