Today we dashed from Kofce to VV, then along the ridge to Kladivo, to Šija and back to Kofce... by half past seven sweat was already pouring down. Magnificent views, people on the ridge just right, no crowds. Hot and nice day on Košuta... how could it be otherwise there nasmeh

Hi!

Does anyone have info on the route Kofce-Veliki vrh-Kladivo-Pl. Pungart-Pl.Šija-Kofce?
Planning to do it Saturday if weather at least somewhat favorable.

Yesterday (20.10.2012) we did the tour Kofce-Veliki Vrh-Kladivo and to Šija back to Kofce. Weather ideal, on VV it blew pretty hard but view phenomenal. No crowds on the ridge. Recommend.

Road to Kofce in solid condition. Praise to the food at the hut on Kofce, just yum yum smile

Autumn picturesque tale, from the hut on Kofce first to VV, then over Kofce gora to Kladivo, on to Škrbina, to the valley to Pl. Pungart and Pl. Šija, Kofce. Very windy on the ridge, met max 5 people, nice but very nasmeh

Today parked below Matizovec (end of asphalt), then to Kofce and towards Veliki vrh. Due to cold wind on V. vrh didn't stay long, decided to continue along the ridge to Mali and Veliki Kladivo. Morning fog up a bit above Kofce, on return opposite: valley sunny, peaks in fog. Late afternoon cleared higher too as fog lifted. All hike alternating dry and snowy parts. Crampons only for a couple hundred meters on Kofce gora ridge, even that just for feel, think doable without...zavijanje z očmimežikanje

Quite a few hikers on V.v. yesterday. Bothered by the unequippedness of some hikers, but each knows what and how much they can handle. Fog held around 1750 m.

Yesterday to Kladivo and Veliki vrh, weather for hike super, otherwise hikers for example since it was Monday, usual day when hikers much less than weekends. Paths passable and almost snow-free so can walk normally.

On Sunday (9.6.2013) it was excellent - a bit windy and some fog and two or three small snow patches.
And quite a few hikers chasing moments without rainnasmeh

Today after morning hesitation I decided for Košuta; from parking under Matizovec via Kofce to Veliki vrh and on to M. and V.Kladivo and return via Šija. Pleasant autumn weather, extraordinary views and no hikers. Kofce and Šija closed weekdays. No snow on southern slopes.
