skala123; Today my friend and I did your tour. Actually we extended it a lot, all the way to Škrbina and Pungrat. We visited all huts and homes on the path, at the end we enjoyed heavenly good struklji at Dom na Kofcah.
Nice world, this ridge part of Košuta, the day was excellent for walking, in the afternoon views to all our beautiful peaks. Thanks for the reply and good luck to you on the paths. Valerija

We were there on Sunday, the road is normally drivable even with a smaller car. Here and there maybe a larger stone sticks out, which can be easily bypassed.

Today we hiked from Kofce to Veliki vrh, then to Kofce gora, Kladivo and then descended to Šija. From Šija we went to Kofce and thus finished pleasant Sunday tour.

Today from Mrzli studenec, Šija, Veliko Kladivo, Malo Kladivo, Kofce gora, Eastern and western peak Toplar, Veliki vrh, planina Kofce and M. Studenec.
Some small mud in forest, otherwise path BP. Weather mostly sunny with moderate wind. On ridge met quite a few hikers, at Dom on Kofcah of course crowd. If you ordered famous štruklje before going, say, to V. vrh and returned, you waited only half an hour for your štruklje

Of course, why not. Everything is marked, no snow, just not on the trail in stormy weather. Take some carrot or a piece of dry bread with you, there's a friendly donkey at Kofce.

Thanks to both for the answer I searched the net, but nowhere found exactly those paths... are there any parts in between where I could get lost or where it's not well marked... so I can be more attentive?

When you descend from Veliki Kladivo along the path you came up, be careful when you come out of the steep part onto a gentler ridge. There left down branches the path to Planina Ilovica, the junction is less visible in the grass. No signpost, at least I didn't see one. But the path is distinct and clearly visible. Surely someone will go up or down it and you'll see where to go that way too.

At the saddle between Mali Kladivo and Veliki Kladivo branches the path to Planina Šija. It's a hunting/border path (no idea) and not marked. The path is nicely visible and easy to follow. It zigzags so it's not too steep. When you reach the meadows of Planina Šija turn right. The path across the meadow is sometimes poorly visible, but easy to follow.
No direct path from the ridge to Planina Ilovica. At most through scrub.

thanks, that's it, that path I was thinking of. Walked last Friday and fully followable all the way. Since we didn't go to Šija, I wrote towards Ilovica.

I was sure we had the same path in mind. But it could confuse someone who doesn't know these areas.
I always do the reverse loop. Up I go on this path, down from Veliki Vrh towards Kofce.
