Today on both Kočnas from Suhadolnik. On Kokrska Kočna had to grind quite a lot of "gravel". Must mention that there's a lot of scree on the path, so great caution needed. Already in the forenoon it clouded over and started raining, luckily not too strong, so we got pretty wet.

Maybe someone knows how much walking from Jezerska Kočna to Grintovec.
How much more to descend from Zdolška škrbina? Is walking up the scree field needed?

The scree is only on the descent from Jezerska Kočna to Dolška škrbina. Then horizontal traverse over rocks to below Grintovec wall and then ascent over the wall to the top. Altogether about two hours.

I agree with the 2 hours estimate too. No real scree field (like e.g. towards Kočna from Kokrsko sedlo), on the upper part of descent from Kočna need to step carefully because of gravel under feet.
And at one part you'll have to bend down quite a bit and maybe take off backpack too

Summits of Kočna and Grintovec today mostly in clouds. Consequently fewer visitors; but it was nicer to walk, only in the last 20 min before Suhadolnik we got a bit rained on

@lencka: I went to Grintovec twice from Konca-Žagan peč. The path from Suhadolnik tempts me, they say it's more scenic, and a bit for a change. Kočna tempts me too. How long did your mentioned path take time-wise? Thanks. Valerija

The path from the saddle to Kočna (no need even to the saddle, can go directly from Suhadolnik) has in between one nasty scree (1 step forward 2 back). Above the scree it's quite interesting. Didn't overdo with ironmongery so you often have to climb crumbly rock. From top of K. Kočna to J. Kočna is more secured.

Valerija, about 8.5 hours to Grintovec of moderate walking.
The path shortens a bit if you turn left directly over Grdi graben.
I went past Cojzova koča.

From Grintovec the Kočnas look completely dry, wondering if anyone knows how the path from Jezersko to Zdolška škrbina is?
Can it be done without winter gear, or am I optimistic?

Not dry or half. Was up today, section under Zdolška škrbina in snow. On one part before the saddle icy steps, but some 10m very dangerous with direct drop down. Descent problematic. At least simple crampons recommended. Chimney just below summit also snowy and dangerous for slip on return. Can do without but adrenaline full on...
