I'm interested if anyone has recently walked towards Kredarica from Rudno polje via Studorski preval, past Vodnikov dom to Kredarica. Thanks in advance for info. nasmeh

Today to Kredarica from Krma. Down below as usual huge crowd, although some additional parking spots (cca. 300m from Kovinarska onwards). Following the tracks in the snow, parking there is quite an adventure. Gaz nice, lots of people, on Triglav saw at least 20. Despite clear forecast, annoying foggy layer somewhere between 2100 and 2300m. Above fog pure "šajba". Descent to valley much better than last Sunday, snow sinks in less, this week's powder doesn't hurt. Last week so disappointed with conditions said I won't go up again until proper snow dump. Forbidden bread ....

By the end of winter it will be a real album of chapel photos

Yesterday I was up there a bit disappointed with the weather forecast which predicted sun but there was no sun in the valley all day, only there as bumslpepe wrote. Otherwise all ok, snow hard...

Interested how is passability of road to Krma. I have lower car. Can get there also without chains, or better leave car lower. Thanks everyone in advance! nasmeh

You can get to Krma (to Kovinarska koča) with any car without chains, because the road is nicely cleared. nasmeh

To Krma no problem to Kovinarska koča, and even a bit further some 500 m to the winter parking. Normally without chains. But winter tires on the car are obligatory.

Where is it better / easier to go in winter to Triglav from Planika or Kredarica. In summer it should be easier from Planika.

Today we also visited Kredarica from Krma, snow is mostly hard so no problems with sinking. Today there were lots of us on Kredarica despite workday, quite a few also on the top even if occasionally quite windy, we didn't decide for Triglav summit due to stronger wind, hope it succeeds next time, it will wait nasmeh

We two were also among yesterday's visitors of Kredarica and just like you didn't go to the summit, not so much because of wind which was really strong according to those who climbed there. We didn't have time for that feat because we are more sleepy sort and the summit will have to wait a bit more. Otherwise nice pics from beautiful and sunny Kredarica!
