I agree with the predecessor, because current snow conditions in high mountains are extra dangerous due to avalanche risk. We'll need to wait a bit more until the snow transforms and slides off.

On Saturday just to Prgarca "pop". Flora1 writes slid off under shepherd hut. Is path then bit harder passable or not at all for us not on snowshoes?

Hello!
Yesterday's skiing from the "Dom" gave me reason to write about current path conditions. Road from Kurje vas over Zasipska pl. is fully icy. Car tracks guide nicely so you don't slip into plowed snow. To the basin easy without chains. To the "stable" only with them. Parking big enough at the basin. At the "stable" even bigger. Path wide, hard. Upper part right of Kalvarija: crampons recommended, of course with ice axe and helmet. Whole path to the "Dom" great, hard, but not icy. BP. For descent better to put on crampons (complete). That's it.
LP and safe in the mountains.

I'm wondering if snowshoes are recommended for walkers. I plan to go to Kredarica on Friday when there will also be higher temperatures. Is the track packed?

Today on Triglav from Krma.
The road is completely icy , a stream is flowing on the trail.
The snow was sinking in, the wind was blowing 170 km/h, but calmed down in the afternoon.

Today a small group went to Kredarica. Already in the morning there was a real crowd in Krma, all rushing to Kredarica. The road from Kovinarska hut onwards is icy in places, but any car reaches the end without problem. On the path very variable conditions, lower snow compact, higher where sun-warmed crumbling but not sinking. Afternoon descent different story, snow sinking half meter deep and more. Crowd of hikers punched path (esp where scree below) so barely get through. Top beautiful weather great views, forecaster very friendly. Today at least thirty on Kredarica.

Family duties hindered night ascent to Kredarica. Actually wanted this whole season, only yesterday managed. Below Prgarca out of fog, moon and stars greeted me. Of course endless solitude all around – real meditation. In veeeeery early hour arrived at Kredarica.
Descent started a bit before sunrise. One pure sadness. Everything desperately churned and at such crazy early hour still hard frozen. A bit worried snow too hard, but that was no problem at all. Hardly found untrampled parts of the slope for turns. Today skied like old mom. Over Ulce already wanted to take off skis, but persisted to scree start under Vrtača. Then crampons on feet and to car.
Probably last tour this season. Skis already hung up (maybe precisely because of that more snow will come).
See you next winter.

" bumslpepe " too early saying see you next winter. Touring ski season barely started. Sure skis carry from car to first snow blanket. But compensates descent on enjoyable " firn ".

Swiss, it'll hold, yesterday's descent from Kredarica one of the better ones (morning 9am)  but have to take into account carrying skis down half hour to car

Who knows exactly about the conditions from Krma to Kredarica?
If I understand correctly, it is icy from Prgarca, and Kalvarija is sinking somewhere? I'm wondering if it is currently possible to run up in sneakers without crampons?

I can't imagine running through those holes. I was up there on Saturday, yeah, you'd break your leg for sure in half an hour if not before, otherwise possible somehow.
