@BojanA, what can I say , you really nail it just like that, for fun. When I first went to Kredarica it felt like going to the moon, the path seemed so long to me. Well, not anymore, now it's nice, interesting, and not so long anymore. You're good, to be admired, keep going like that, and your posts are very, very interesting, really once again congratulations Bojan

Thanks a lot for the congratulations. @mukica: According to data from Kredarica, another about 10 cm. For Thursday they ordered a new shipment. http://www.meteoalpi.com/3/Slovenia/meteo-Kredarica.html @lingo: If you'll only hike in good weather, you'll hike very little. No avalanches yet.

I'm wondering how it is with overnight stays at Kredarica now that the hut is closed, food, heating. Thanks for the answer.

But I still don't know if you can overnight and if there's any heating or you have to sleep in a jacket. lp

Isn't it already a big enough luxury for winter time to sleep in a down jacket and have a dry surface, shelter and a roof over your head?

There's heating too, since otherwise the weather observer would freeze up there . Well, a sleeping bag is of course highly recommended for winter or some hot chick .

Thanks Zvončnica. Although to tell the truth running to Kredarica (especially dry) really isn't that hard. What drew me was mainly the first snow and the beauty of snow-covered mountains. Now I see it's even nicer with more snow. Gotta go again.

Frenk45, that last one will be the best; it's the only one that gives off heat, everything else listed just retains it. Weather observers in winter heat only their own rooms, the dorms are really ice cold there. Anyway: if Bojan up and down in three hours, no devil if you don't do it in nine... Good luck.

Here you're writing as if Kredarica in winter is half a brothel where hot chicks go to offer themselves to old mountaineers. Women stay nicely quiet. My opinion of course, I'm just a fovš, as one of these womanizers will immediately remark

Kredarica is NOT half a brothel, but IS fully a brothel. They don't shut the door in anyone's face, neither winter nor summer It's open to the wider public, say Who offers to whom and who warms with what isn't even important
