Report from Kredarica:

The road to Krma is an icy toboggan. At first glance it looks scary, but it's not that bad. On the flat you have to watch out, the slopes are gritted.

That half meter of snow has been blown far away. The only spot that seemed dangerous to me today was the steep slope at the top of Žleb, which I (following predecessors' tracks) bypassed on the right. I didn't dare tackle it downhill either. Then on the way down (first-hand info) I learned they had skied it already on Sunday. The sun is already quite busily working the snow.

The ski descent was fantastic today (again over Ulce to Pleša, then again along the gentle part of Bukovje to the car).

A few more pics, Franci's will of course be nicer.

Hi!
Wondering if anyone has a GPS track for ski descent from Kredarica to Krma in current conditions, with as much good skiing as possible and little walking?

Best, Primoz

In current conditions you can choose terrain only up to the field, lower there's no choice left. To Pleša along the path, lower if terrain-savvy via left screes as high as possible to bypass fallen trees and then through the last forest part to the bottom where no issues. Yesterday I carried skis only below Pleša some 20 height meters. But not real TS in lower part yet.

Attaching VDV recording with some skiing options. More can be found depending on knowledge and conditions.winking

Today brings sad news of a hiker who fell over the wall of Mali Triglav onto the glacier. Who it was you'll surely find out. Hope it all ends well.

Too bad for redbull, he was and I hope still, that his strength, health, longing for mountains return to such extent that he can still venture into the heights.

In such events we cannot judge a person solely by the mental side. Each of us is indeed good in the essence of spirit.
Probably a gust of wind surprised him up there on the narrow ridge, with a combination of fast walking. Wind was blowing from the north, but when you lean against it and then the wind subsides, you can lose balance. Lucky he fell towards the glacier, as in the opposite direction he wouldn't stay alive.

It says that yesterday on Triglav the wind was blowing at 100 km/h, so...
