Yesterday morning for coffee to Kredarica and to check if there's still any snow. No snow, but fog. In the basin below Kredarica, a herd of ibex grazing carefree. On the way back, a bit along the path that branches at Kalvarija towards Stanič hut. I liked these completely different views, saw two winter markings too. Interesting shapes of these Ržki basins!

On Tuesday in the early morning hours conditions were fully wintery from Prgarca onwards, perfect for carving a fresh track in untouched whiteness. That day no one else decided to go up, but on Wednesday a few mountaineers came to enjoy the snowy sunny idyll 
Below 2000m snow melts very fast, higher up the temperature stays below zero keeping the winter fairy tale. Wind blew the newly fallen snow mostly into small drifts, the base is frozen, so crampons are recommended.
From Kredarica to Triglav no one went in those two days.
The sunset still shyly hides behind Triglav's face location-wise, but the sunrise provided exceptionally nice moments

It was really wonderful, much more beautiful than a week ago. So I enjoyed two weekends in a row at Kredarica. I've never been here in such conditions.

Was anyone at Kredarica these days? What are the conditions from Krma? How much snow, are crampons needed? Thanks for any info. Since the weather is nice, maybe I'll go up tomorrow. lp

And who knows who the couple were that slipped yesterday under Ržjo on the path from Stanič to Kredarica? Probably it was frozen, and they had no gear.
