If you can manage it, the little dogs will too. They have four legs each and their own crampons. Good luck.

Today to the sunny beach of Kredarica... Gofra, your little dogs can definitely handle the path without trouble with their own "crampons", but otherwise small crampons are recommended for you - with them it goes easier and safer especially if you're early. Later in the sun the snow softens anyway. You can go without crampons too just be more careful and maybe a bit slower descending without them. The iciest or slipperiest is through Krma somewhere to Prgarca. But on the whole path it's really as someone wrote before all a little: snow, nice and dry. Good luck and safe steps

How's the road from Mojstrana to Kovinarska hut, I assume it's drivable?

Road icy in places but drivable to the end...at least that's how it was a week ago , but I think not much has changed...

Krma - Kredarica Road nicely drivable to the end (parking) without chains, icy and frozen sections even sprinkled with sand. Praise for such great road maintenance! Somehow quietly expecting to meet those two beautiful huskies from gofra, sadly not on the path this time... Use of small crampons very welcome to Prgarca, then path to Kalvarija mostly dry already, from Kalvarija onwards again some more snowy sections. It's never hard to drag oneself to the excellent morning coffee with sunrise & laughter-spiced great company at Kredarica

Above description says it all and I won't drag on. Šmarnogorske crampons really welcome also on descent under Prgarca as sun doesn't peek there at all. Higher up also short sections of powdery Julian paths where short pants and topless would fit. Already at parking (as already several times) ran into larger scout group preparing with Bethlehem lights for loooong path. Warm, no wind, no rain, no snow...

Today finally done my duty - trip to Kredarica from Krma was almost perfect. Weather fantastic, cooler in valley than at top, almost no wind, company simply excellent (Maemi, here we met ). Conditions same as before. Road drivable bp all the way to the hut. Some snow on path, here and there icy - for ascent crampons not "must", for descent I'd definitely recommend the little ones as already said. Best

I think there will be New Year's Eve at Kredarica this year due to nice weather. Does anyone have any info?
