Surprisingly nice day at Kredarica today. There was quite a bit of sun.
First ski tour of this winter. There's quite a lot of snow. Problem is the brush, which is mostly under snow. When you hit it though it can sink pretty deep. Right under the snow there's also quite a few nasty rocks.
Quite a few skiers around. About 10 hikers made it up too.
Roads from Radovna obviously won't be plowed this winter. Ruts are pretty deep. I left the car about a kilometer out of the village. Further up the road there's quite a few spare parts from low-clearance cars. With an SUV you can get to the end.

If you have an SUV or something like that (ruts are too deep for a passenger car and you really risk damaging bumpers/chassis) you can get to the last parking lot at Lesa too.
Otherwise you're forced to leave the car in Kurja vas and walk those 4-5km to the trailhead.

Confirming. There were some at Kovinarska hut or even further with passenger cars, but on the other hand too much plastic on the ground to risk it. If it's a higher car or you don't mind, then no problem

Yesterday we also left the car at the start of the road. Really not worth risking
Otherwise the path to Kredarica without issues, except the ski touring track is pretty holey, not very pleasant.
Upper part still had quite some wind crust.
Lower part below pastirsko pretty bad for skiing, really shows the poor winter.
We met only three hikers.

After over three months yesterday headed up again. Parked car at end of meadow, few mins before gorge because bike tracks deeper. Summer parking only four SUVs.
Already at start ground frozen slippery, used crampons in woods already...

Yesterday: despite late hour (from parking before Lesa left bit before 8) snow to Vrtača frozen, some hiked with crampons. Below Prgarca deep thaw but footprints not breaking through because predecessor smartly did them at bottom of gullies from heel-sliders descent. Deep snow very hard, to field edge (2000m) no footprint broke for me. From there skis on, to Kredarica path some hikers (mostly skiers), at hut 20-30, some on Očak.
Continued to Kredarica top (2539m) wanted Rž but extremely hard icy, crampons mandatory but only skis ice axe, turned back.
Descent varied. First little dry crusty, then heavily thawed not reworked snow sinking lots. Gully under Kurica crusty annoyingly refrozen. Soon as possible crossed right down nice just-right-thawed slope to Mala polje. Met two boarders, together across half-snow scree right to Draški vrhovi walls under them. Under walls despite 0 isotherm 2500m low alt (1500-1200m) snow very hard, avalanche areas rare, ski possible sideways. No special joy on right edges. Where path to forest, earlier rock snow slide from wall cut path, down slope annoying sharp rocks in snow. Epic thru low-snow scree end moraine short luckily. Few 100m forest path then stream bed back to path to Lesa. Think easier ski path from Mala polje surely thawed.
Also: many at Kredarica breathless first traverse under Mali Triglav unusual. Someone return crossed few m back crossed back long at traverse start later safe confident down. Was waiting support advice hiker to Triglav only microspikes trouble thawed second traverse descent. Guy later really sorry equipped like that.
Coffee at Kredarica still best in country, meteorologists always friendly.

Yesterday with skis to Kredarica. Besides friend, 2 more tourers joined at hut. After short deliberation all agreed to go Planika direction then descent via Kurica to Krma Skiing very good
