Krma - Kredarica
A period has come when the crowds receded and finally peace settled on the path, only meeting two gentlemen with pleasant conversation.
Through the break in low clouds, snow in morning sun rays over Žleb (winter variant) was already softened. I draw a fresh track also on Snežna konta, then to the well-deserved Kredarica coffee in great company that draws a smile.
After Saturday's ascent to Triglav in memory, now I climb also to the top of Kredarica, light a candle before daddy's face, say goodbye in thoughts...

Forecasted snow shower was very generous yesterday, thus creating a real winter fairy tale today. Sun rays in the morning dispersed the clouds and provided beautiful sparkling of crystals in nature.
Snow dust started already above forest line, on Kredarica 17cm fresh fallen. Peace and quiet on the entire path, on Kredarica as always in winter nice...excellent festive service and lots of healthy laughter

Hello
Next week we are heading from Krma to Kredarica, plan to overnight there, next day visit Cmir, Begunjski vrh, Visoka vrbanova špica and maybe Rz. Does anyone have more experience how paths around Stanič's hut are trodden in winter?? Currently fresh fallen and windblown snow, probably shouldn't cause problems? Best thanks for reply.lp grega

Paths around there from hikers not trodden. Recently I was twice on skis from Kot and followed only one who wasn't skier.
Otherwise no problem. If hard and with proper gear no need for trodden path, if wallowing then without skis nothing much to seek there.

On Friday afternoon at the parking lot in Krma, I lost a GPS navigator with some tracks I wouldn't want to lose. I reward the honest finder. Call me at 041744286.

According to the forecast and the amount of new snow this week, it will be worse.
But I was on Saturday again on skis from Kredarica past Staničeva to Kot and I can say you missed the best conditions.

The weekend was in all respects exceedingly wonderful, it would be a shame to miss it...
Conditions good, light snow showers for winter idyll, the games of sun with clouds made a beautiful backdrop.

Krma - Kredarica
Peaceful trip into real winter idyll starting at Ulce. Kalvarija really beautifully covered, conditions very good, hard in the morning hours.
Via summer Kalvarija the variants under Snežna konta excellent track uphill, descent directly down Žleb and drawing untouched snow.
On the path more marmots seen than people, they already merrily explore the spring melting world around Prgarca
Weather likes to surprise, not always as gray and foggy as on the camera...

Krma - Kredarica
Great escape from lowland madness to peaceful high joys. Snow melting exceptionally fast, Triglav shed snow with avalanches, only waterfalls murmur from it.
In short sleeves peaceful lounging in the sun interrupted by occasional fly buzzing...spring/summer season starting also above 2500m
And such a beautiful day...

"Dangerous thing" is if you go too close to the left wall in this lower part, because you can fall through some crack. Below, the snow is melting and it's a sheer drop.
