Today on Krn, from Planina Kuhinja. Fog in Soča valley, the higher we climbed, the clearer it got. On Kuhinja nice in the morning, when the sun peeked out warm right away. At the shelter like on the beach, we all basked in the sun. Great views from the top, fog in valleys and southwards, snow you had to hunt to step on it. Then to Batognica and over the saddle to the valley, where we met Snežinkica. GREETINGS nasmehnasmeh ! Then at Planina Kuhinja ate jota with sausage and to the valley! Super daynasmehnasmehnasmeh

Yesterday was really a nice day suitable for visiting Krn, where I climbed with Zvončnica, it felt almost like summer, short sleeves were enough. Well, returning greetings to bogdan, whom we met on the way nasmeh. We got to the valley already almost in the dark, then refreshment followed.

From somewhere halfway to Baba, yeah. When I got to the top, unfortunately I didn't wait for the clouds to clear. But glories were nicely visible. nasmeh

No, I went only to the lake to check some specific geological feature, then I turned around and descended back to Lepena.

Since nice weather was promised, we three women decided to climb to Krnnasmeh. Already from the valley we noticed that the weather fooled us a biteek and it might not be as nice as the forecast saidmrk pogled. Initial plan was to do it from Planina Kuhinja over Batognjica to the top and then down the other valleynasmeh. But we changed the plan, so we went from Lepena. About the ascent to the top we'd decide on the spot, around Krnsko jezero. Around the lake wind picks up stronger, getting colder and coldermrk pogled. We take some pics and head straight to Krn. Since clouds over it didn't clearmrk pogled, on the contrary, getting darker, almost every peak wrapped in clouds, we decided not to tempt fate and better return to the valley via Planinska koča pri Krnskih jezerihzadrega. Meanwhile getting colder, cold chilly wind adds to it. We stop at the hut, refresh, stamp the logbook and take some picsnasmehmežikanje. At the hut we meet Bojan A too, exchange a few words (nice to meet someone from the forum in person)nasmeh. We quickly head to Lepena valley, as some raindrops accompanied us all the way. When we reach the car, we change and change shoes right away, take some more picsnasmeh and zoom towards Bovec, where we had the car. On the way to the car we stop by Soča too. This beautiful daughter of the mountains enchants us again, inspires and doesn't leave us indifferentmežikanjenasmehvelik nasmeh. Not to mention the pools she shaped in past history. Breath-takingjezik. Looking at surrounding hills we notice they're all in fog, and it's getting lower. Good we returned on timemežikanje.

Anyway, despite everything we did about 1000m elevation gain. We're proud of that. Krn waits for us next year, when warmer. And we'll return via this path, to make a long tourmežikanje.

On picture 28 is V.Šmohornasmeh. I also felt the weather for Kopica, damn.... cold and windy, and everything went from SW. The Bohinj mountains were completely in black clouds, meaning you under Krn also had really bad weather already beforeeek

As we saw, there was still some snow there by the notch (or on the path to it), but it doesn't seem critical to me. Probably it can be crossedcoolmežikanje.

On Saturday, memorial hike to Krn, namely to the lake. Wonder if it's possible to summit. Crampons needed, and if anyone knows conditions on path to summit. Thanks.

Question what summit like, but thing interesting, path to lakes boring, almost worth to summit cos event passes quick, so just path to summit if not much snow.
