Hello,
does anyone know what the conditions on Krn are like? How much snow?
We planned to head there tomorrow but the announced avalanche danger worries us a bit.

Conditions today:
on the slope there's between 25cm and 50cm of snow, in some places more.
But in case of sun it won't last long as it melts very fast.
If anyone plans to go to Krn in the next days, I recommend going early in the morning as today after 12 it was all slush and it was pretty hard to walk.

@darinka4... unfortunately I can't guess.
@pantani1... you're wrong, with good light the colors and exposure will be fine, but the choice of subject, composition and balance of the photo are the photographer's thing and not 'ideal' (whatever that means) conditions.

Aha it's true, I saw such a photo through an ice axe hole for the first time and I was surprised that such a nice shot can be made.
