Next year I want to go to Krofička via the hunting path. Is that part with the pulled-out pegs really as steep as the picture shows? geppo encouraged me that you can get past the pegs. Is the swinging cable helpful? Do you cross to the right after that? Thanks for answers!

Over the cable it's not difficult. You can (carefully) use it for help.
But you have to cross a bit higher, the lower variant (path) goes across the slope of Krofička.
In my opinion the upper part is harder, where you have to scramble and find the easiest passage.

Krofička wasn't even on my list of most desired mountains, yeah, maybe once, not yet. Then under the commented trips on Friday I read an interesting praise of this path and the decision was quickly made. I just had to convince Jože, because without his consent it just doesn't go.
The drive from our end isn't short, but if you're driving to Logar Valley, you know that's time already counted into the nice day that's guaranteed.
The nice path from the start at Na razpotju to Klemenča cave surprised me already. There you just can't get enough of all the beauties, as this area captivates you from the first glance. How come it didn't draw me to this beautiful world earlier? Really a place for enjoyment, just being there is enough, without special expectations.
But we had to go on, Krofička was our goal. Very pleasant walking in the shade of this hot Saturday day, real balm. Along the path, admiring flowers, beautiful cushions of Zois bellflower and bristly stone scree couldn't be missed. On the summit also not the flock of playful swallows that circled the top of Krofička and made it even more magical.
We agreed we'll head to this summit again, but from the other direction, from Škrbina, for some exploring in between.
The return drive we circled via Pavličev saddle, where we admired another, different view of KSA, which also strongly appealed.

If next time you continue along the ridge to Strelovec, you'll be even more enthusiastic. That spot under the Utami is like in a fairy tale. I recommend.

Yesterday-Tuesday we decided to repeat the path along the Krofička ridge.
Klemenča cave-Strelovec-bivouac under Utami-ridge-summit Krofička-Klemenča cave.
At the bivouac there's a logbook and we were surprised by so many entries.
This time we headed to the ridge left of the bivouac, climbed the little peak left of bivouac, on exposed spots there are some bolts drilled if anyone needs protection. Then to the ridge. This time scree didn't bother us much, we walked nicely along the ridge right to the Krofička summit and watched mists rising and clearing over Robanov kot.
From the summit we returned via marked path to Klemenča cave.

Yesterday quickly to Krofička. Conditions good, path to hut icy several times, onwards from hut snow starts. Path ok to steep slope, where Croats were turning back as they had one ice axe each... We continue a bit right and direct to summit, base hard. Looks like no one has been up there for a long time, quick break, eat, drink and back down. Super day.

Thanks for info on conditions. Anyway, tomorrow the technical team for chains repair will work on path to Krofička - so they said today when we met them working on path from Robanov kot to Molička.
