Today on Krofička. Up the hunters' path and down the normal one. Summer conditions, no snow anywhere anymore. Only on the slope called Zadnji travnik we got a bit lost, as the path completely disappears. So we bushwhacked a bit to the right and realized we were on the way to Robanov kot, then returned and somehow found the steep path up. Here we spent about 1 hour looking for the right path, as there are no cairns and very few or almost none. Otherwise nice and quiet, the only traffic was towards Kopinškova.

Desired for a long time, but hadn't been done yet. From Klemenče jame up then along the hunters' variant to Zadnji travnik then a bit across and up to the summit ridge and to the top. And it was nice again.

Today past the nicest hut under Utami and along the ridge to the top of Krofička. Descent on the marked path.

Yesterday to Krofička on the marked path from Logarska dolina. The plan was even more extensive but I rather skipped it, it'll wait. Already early in the morning strange clouds gathered and swallows were raging like crazy but I've never seen so many of them in the mountains yet. The ridge will wait.

I've never seen so many swallows around some peaks (especially around various Babs) as I've seen this year. They were also very playful, as pohodnik38 mentions.

I too was recently witness to a mass migration of house martins, specifically on the Košuta ridge. I even counted the swallows, there were about 1000. It felt like being in a swarm of mega flies, only a hungry sparrowhawk chased them away. lp

yes, they were urban ones, I saw them on the Košutice ridge and Velika (Krnska) Baba. Never before in the mountains, at least I haven't noticed them.
They probably really migrated before this cold, a week ago they were still in our area!

Today on Krofička. Snow up to the ridge/turnoff to Strelovec is really little, higher up to the knees, mostly untracked. The traverse under the summit, the only more demanding part of the path, is nicely covered with scree, so crossing is much easier. Nice sunny day, beer at the hut in short sleeves.

Good views of the surrounding mountains from Krofička and although photos are a bit misty due to weather, we can still be excited about the views of these Kamnik mountains from a really special perspective

Probably you went on the so-called "hunter's" over Škrbina, where those three bolts have been "dangling" for years. That path nobody maintains for years and it's not marked. Official path to Krofička is marked over Puklovca.
