Hi,
road is passable to the last kilometer...To the bend where the path to the take-off site branches off, then snow is piled against the wall and it's not passable any further

Slovenian direction is OK, almost no snow, at one place we had to cross about 10 meters, we didn't put crampons on, it was soft. On Italian direction there is snow here and there, but we also passed without crampons.

Already a little after 4am on top of Mangart. Up the Slovenian route and down the Italian one, little snow, didn't put on crampons.

I parked below, as there's a no further driving sign. The road is otherwise drivable to the top, as some brave drivers continued driving. I don't recommend that at all, go up on foot past the hut and back the same past the hut and not on the road.

They were filming an ad, obviously they cleared and repaired the road a bit, the ban of course still applies, but there were a few dozen vans at the saddle and parking lot.
