I always like it when something awaits me at the top. Anything. Be it Aljaž Tower (or its miniature version somewhere) or a cross or Mary (sometimes in Italy, say near us Viš) or some cleverly shaped summit log box or a lookout tower... Just not empty or just a plain box or not even that.
In Austria maybe it's really boring because everywhere just a cross and almost nothing else. In Italy and with us it's more colorful. And let it stay that way. We could even put up a Mary here (what a fuss there would be because of her), pagoda, Buddha statue, for me even a crescent moon. Or another tower, some modern creation, ...

Goodness, how different people are. But I don't see a cross on any summit, nor anything else. When all sweaty and out of breath I arrive (crawl - clamber) to the top, I don't see or hear anything, nor does anything bother me. I feel immense satisfaction and despite fatigue I'm full of positive energy that never fills me like this anywhere else as exactly on the top. I'm a strict atheist, but precisely because of love and respect for the mountains nothing on the summit bothers me.

Let the owner delete the picture if they feel like it. Where do we end up if everyone dislikes something in a picture, do we delete half published pictures then?
The administrator deleting previous days' squabbles is praiseworthy.
