Yesterday's Mrzlica. Start in Prebold past the hunting lodge towards Golava, continued under Golava towards Mrzlica.

Podmeja/Mrzlica/Čeče/Podmeja
Today’s winter morning with Milan we used for a visit to Mrzlica. In the morning just individual snowflakes. The higher towards the Mrzlica summit, the denser the snowfall. With the snowfall also wind forming the beginnings of drifts.
In the hut we drink tea, climb to the summit and descend steeply. Such a nice winter day that it pulls us left towards Čeče. In the steep forest, on icy ground "we cash" a few falls each. Luck, no consequences. In Čeče - beer with Matk (no fried fish fingers...) and back to the ridge. Snowing, more and more! Really a proper winter after a long time. Approx. 14 km and approx. 3:35 hours.

Sunday was a beautiful day which I used for a longer spring tour and climbed to Mrzlica so not just one peak, one path and three peaks. So you can nicely connect from one starting point: Kamnik-Mrzlica-Goljava.

If last year (8.11.2015) I went to Mrzlica in short sleeves, this year it didn't go. Northerly wind swept, created drifts. Drove fog over peaks, dry branches flew in the air. In tree crowns it roared and bent trunks. Real winter morning.

Towards the top a few cm of snow. Path is icy in places. Otherwise fog, drizzle, beautiful winter!

To Mrzlica via Kal.
At the starting point in Zabukovica there is a warning about bear presence in these parts, so I made sure to be "heard".
The warning should be taken seriously, say the locals.1
The mountain hut on Kal often stands empty.2

The bears are from Kočevje. They are, apparently, especially allergic to partisan songs.
Nothing will be wrong if they stay with us, they are welcome, nothing bad will happen to them.

Planjava, buy a bear bell that you can clip to your leg or carry in your hand. They say they are sold in a larger sports store that starts with the letter D...zavijanje z očmi (no advertising). I got mine as a gift, because I spend a lot of time on forest pathsvelik nasmeh. It jingles nicely and the bear will definitely hear it. Better that he hears you than that you see himmežikanje. Onward courageously.
