The road is passable without problems. At these temperatures it will soon be further on too.

Up to Planinšek it should be passable. Further on, I strongly doubt it.

What are the conditions to Ojstrica from Planina Podvezak? is it safe? And is the hut already open? Planning a trip on May 1st.

Three days ago I was at the hut with skis. With car up to the Planinšek farm (now probably a bit further) on the road to pl. Podvežak or pl. Ravne there is still snow, otherwise to Korošica there is a lot of snow, 1 or 2 meters in drifts even more.
At the hut snow up to the winter room, so the main entrance to the hut is completely snowed in.
In my opinion even for May 1st without skis, very tough tour.

Drago, congrats on the nice tour.
On the 5th picture you took me back to February 2008, when I skied from its top. It was about as snowy as in your picture.

You're good if you ski in such terrain!
This year there's quite a lot of snow for this time. When I last compared photos from last year's Mrzla gora (17 March) and this year's (26 April), I noticed there was less snow last year then, but more on key spots on the ridge. Now it's melting a lot on the ridges because temperatures are high.

Today on Ojstrica. Up via Klemenča cave along Kopinškova valley then over Škarja and through Grlo back to Logarska.

The rocky section on pic 22 can be bypassed - from top to bottom out of the cirque keep right. Among the pines there is a poorly marked path to the cross snowfield below and then left into the gully.
We also went up over those rocks, down we found the poorly marked path.

On path from Podvežak to Korošica still mostly snow.
Path to Ojstrica mostly dry, just bigger snow patches here and there.

Hi everyone. I would be very grateful if someone told me what conditions are like on Ojstrica and generally in Kamnik Alps. On Saturday we planned that peak. I'm from the coast so I don't know exactly the weather those days in the mountains. Here whole week sun then afternoon storms, so we planned to start the hike very early (4-5) to be back before lunch. Avalanche risk? Crampons needed/essential? Rain chance early morning?

Lots of snow up there still and surely strong snowfields, crampons and ice axe essential gear. Today I was on Velika Planina and the view to snowy Ojstrica was wonderful... Here too (Domžale area) weather like coastal, morning ok, afternoon showers and storms... what weekend brings we don't know
