Nicely documented belated winter, Tonček. The actual snow conditions are also very welcome for me, tomorrow there's a mountain run race from the Bistrica side. There's less snow by you than by us (Domžale), your yesterday's parking is already fully dry, while we still have about 5cm of snow on the grass.
Drago, tomorrow probably won't drag you up again, but still. If you show up, beer on me...

Yes, for some snow with low temps end of April in lowlands or just above them in full vegetation and bloom - idyll, winter fairy tale, bliss etc. - expressions that a poet/lyricist wouldn't be ashamed of... snow end of April is mainly a big disaster already for nearby forest owners on Pohorje, vineyard owners on Meranovo, Pekre, apple plantations in Limbuš... We'll all feel it, in higher prices for sure...

Bruno, on Pohorje it was bliss, you turn it however you want.
At home f........, because all my fruit froze. I saved only the garden because I protected it,... and the figs.
Today is a new day and we're enjoying the sun.

CROSSING POHORJE
On Saturday we walked (some also ran) across Pohorje, in memory of runner Ivan Drvarič. "Run in the snow". There were ten of us at the start. We gathered at 5 a.m. under Pohorje and began walking in fine morning weather. At Pesek we got soaked in the first shower. From there only six continued. Past Lovrenc Lakes to Kop, rain mixed with hail poured on us. We reached Kremžarica in nice weather. Along Šisernikova path to Dravograd, again showers, hail, sun. Umbrella served me well against hail. Others felt it well on their heads. We arrived in Dravograd before bus departure. Here Zvonko and I stayed alone to continue along Kozjak back to Maribor.

Today we walked the path from Areh to Osankarica. It was a fairytale day. Snow around 20 cm, powder.

Today from Mislinje to Pohorje summit and to Ribkiška koča, Jzerski vrh, Ribniško jezero and back to Mislinje center. Path well marked, beginning and end on asphalt, otherwise varied path. On Pohorje lots of visitors as always, especially at Kope and Ribniška koča.

24 HOURS POHORJE
One day from dawn to dawn we "cruised" around Pohorje, in between descending to valley, back to top on another path. Heat scorched us mercilessly. Drank large amounts of fluid. At night the condition improved a bit. Nice gathering on Pohorje, time passed quickly. Regards.

Hello. On New Year's Day Mon.01.01.2018 I will go from Mb to SG across Pohorje and thus start SPP, of course in one day, does anyone join me? Start from Mb at 01h ! More on ZS.
Pohorje is nicest for me in winter ! No visible trash anywhere, no motors and cars, no dusting when walking on the road, all white.......
