Hi, I'm wondering if anyone can recommend the nicest/best hikes in Polhograjsko hribovje? I've never been here so which paths and peaks do you suggest  Length can vary, shorter or longer...

For me, the nicest is from the village Dvor along the ridge to Polhograjska Grmada and descent along the southern ridge to Belica village (circular tour). A nice short hike is also from the castle in Polhove Gradec to Sv. Lovrenc. An even nicer shorter one is from Sv. Katarina to Sv. Jakob (a bit longer from Legastje). I really like all paths to Tošč namely Via Dida, then past the farmer Omejec, but the nicest is certainly from sv. Jedrt the marked ridge one, where you can't get enough of the view of the pines and wooded slopes. Once you discover this path, you can't stop visiting it again and again. And in all seasons. Nice is also the steep hunting path that takes you right to the top, starting point can be the inn at Gonta. All these paths give you special energy!

Great news, the webcam on Katarina is accessible to everyone again. For me personally it often means the deciding factor whether I go or not, especially in the autumn-winter period and early spring.
