...I rarely venture to these parts. Yesterday's path past the Ločnica inn climbs quite steeply. For a while the road was slightly icy then dry towards Gonte farm. Once on the snow, the approach to Grmada is a real pleasure. nasmeh

Today's foggy and quite cold Polhograjska Grmada.Starting point Topol.The path is quite muddy and slippery in some sections.No views,but next time better ones.Best regards.

Today's Grmada offered wonderful views.Starting point( Dvor-Mala Grmada-Grmada-Dvor).Towards the top in shaded path sections icy in places, extra caution needed.Best regards.

Polhograjska Grmada via Mala Grmada is always an exciting hike, and it's nearby. If you climb Goljek first, the tour is perfect.

Yesterday, 13.7 at 19:30, from the Grmada summit, view to the south. I photographed the cloud and ran to Belica so the storm wouldn't catch me. Starting point Belica, no encounters with Homo sapiens up and down.

We used Saturday for the ascent to Grmada and a visit to the zoo.

Alpine ibex, I prefer to meet them where it's nicer

Today to Grmada past the hunting hut, we descended along the ridge over Mala Grmada. Morning at the start still quite cold, warmer towards the top, trees shedding snow load all the time. Weather completely clear, no wind, snow on sunny sides slightly crusty, all paths well trodden, surprisingly few visitors.

Today we wrapped up the year with a circuit around Polhograjci. Started at Legastja, past Gont to Grmada, along ridge to Topol and Katarina then over Sv. Jakob back to car. Cleared up during day, but windy on summits at times.

Happy, healthy and mountain joys filled 2019 to all!

On the summit there are three stamps including the one in the box

They have now extended the track right to the ridge

After yesterday's rain, today was a wonderful day, perfect for watching the sunset on Polhograjska grmada. Trees on shady sides were richly decorated with hoarfrost. View nice, though somewhat covered by haze.
