How's parking at Petrov Brdo, can you leave the car at the mountain hut or do they complicate?

I remember they now have it written on the parking lot how much parking costs if you're not a guest. Anyway it's nice to drop by if open. Rutko is cool velik

No excess snow and no more on Porezen summit. Still my friend and I skied from Jurež to the Porezen hut, walked to summit with skis in hands and skied from hut to start. Snow Sunday noon thawed just right, skiing was ideal. More tomorrow at: https://www.gore-ljudje.si/Kategorije/Novosti/porezen-34

Question. How about access to SPP stamp on Porezen if hut closed? Can you still get it?

I was up there in spring, from the society I got info that the stamp is outside but it wasn't. So I stamped the Porezen summit stamp and it counted. Regards

Porezen from Davča in such nice weather, just a bit windy at the top. No ice either but I put on crampons at the summit and straight back to Davča.

Yesterday and today traditional winter hike to Porezen. I'm not a fan of group hikes usually, but this one already for the second timenasmehnasmeh.
In a beautiful morning and with a really nice sunrise admired from the path above Petrov Brdo, the ascent passed quite quickly. At the top though in the eternal dilemma, which of the Loški giants of similar height is actually the most beautiful. Is it Blegoš, Ratitovec, Porezen? Most often I decide for the one I'm on at that momentnasmehnasmeh.

We returned past the Podhočar farm, where we found out that parking for a voluntary 2 euros is no problem. End of the tour at Rudkot in the Dom na Petrovem Brdu.

You're right. To the mentioned trio I add Črna prst (from where the view is the most beautiful for me), together they form an almost perfect rhombus.nasmeh

My favorite route is to Ratitovec, but the most fascinating view was offered by Porezen. Unfortunately, the approach to it from the starting point is also the most remote and annoying.
Definitely all three are worth multiple visits (at different seasons)!

Razpet - Porezen

Porezen was the highest summit I reached until the end of my high school and back then we went up from Leskovica. It was a long journey, I still remember, but it felt quite long yesterday too, although this time only from Razpet. We started along the road around Prvič, saving the ascent over Cimprovka and Kopa for another time. So that the nice moments are better distributednasmeh.
Already on the way we could see to Triglav, but no view as beautiful as from the panoramic road when we drove from Davča towards Razpet. The whole view captivated me so much that I would stop on the roadside and admire everything the surroundings offer.
Full of anticipation we hurried towards Vršem (1300 m), a beautiful spot that catches the eye from afar with two old trees, and here you can't just continue. You have to take a little rest, as the place is meant for that. Here we then left the road and ascended along the marked hiking path over the Velbnik saddle and the Medrce summit. We returned by stopping at the hunting hut on Šaš and marveling at the nice view of the surroundings from there. Hunters always find such hidden corners.

Maybe this too, that on the whole path we didn't meet anyone, only heard birds chirping and the wind howling along the ridge and saddles. We returned along the road the whole way, as I hadn't walked it for a long time before.

On Thursday the Četrkovci - section of PD Škofja Loka went to Porezen. Every season we do one peak around our area. This year it was Porezen's turn. We drove to Davča and almost missed the direction. Well, we safely got off the bus and the column went on the trail. The path is well marked. It's nice to go over the Cimprovka ridge; on the left you see the rocky cone of Kope. At the end right along the fence to the top of Porezen. Some just crossed the Porezen ridge itself and went straight to the hut. That last part is really steep. The hut was unfortunately closed. Back we went on the path to Petrovo Brdo into Baška grapa. Through the forest you descend pleasantly in switchbacks. The weather was sunny, already too hot. Primroses are blooming. The meadows of white pasque flowers, which we know too little about, are impressive; along the path smells cowslip. We also admire arnica meadows - protected - picking forbidden.

For registered groups, the Cerkljansko alpine association is always ready to open the hut even out of season; one just needs to call them.
