A bit late posting but anyway.
22.08.2011 my friend and I went up Hanzova to the top. Start from in front of Koča na Gozdu at 09:30. It was nice, because we had shade the whole way, only near the top sun rays caressed us. Path is ok, as well as the aids and cables. Over the snowfields we got through without issues. We used ice axe just in case. Reached the top in 3h 15min. On top about 15-20 hikers. All in good spirits. velik nasmeh Back we went through the window via Kopiščarjeva, then turned at the junction towards Hanzova. This part of the path is in bad condition due to weather factors. Also markings are poorly visible in places. Need more caution. After arriving at the goal both in good mood due to well spent day. Safe to all in the mountains!!!! Oops some pics are double. Can someone tell me how to delete.

Today parked in the dark at Vršič and started at 5.30 towards Kopiščarjeva... Yes, moon still shining..zavijanje z očmi. Got equipped and started climbing at 6.10. Thought there would be more climbing like that "chimney"...Anyway, at 8.15 reached top, enjoyed almost an hour and started descent via Jubilee path through the last window. Back to Vršič via southern path (Mlinarica) and to car at 12.20. Altogether under 7 hours. Nice tour!nasmeh

I also have to sign here on the forum so you know I was on Prisank. Otherwise nothing much to add to your debates. But it's one of the nicer tours.

I'm wondering where and when this landslide happened. With a colleague we went to Prisank via the mentioned path on 31.8., and didn't notice any issues. True though, that above 2200m fog accompanied us to the top???

The only snow patch on the path to Prisojnik that never completely melts. Ice axe recommended for crossing it; approx. 20 steps.1

Today I was on Prisanku via Kopiščarjeva and the whole way you could hear rumbling from the direction of Hanzova below the summit, smoke from the rockfall was also visible. On the way a mountaineer caught up with us who said he had gone on Hanzova and had to turn back somewhere at 2100 m altitude, because Hanzova is completely buried. I think the rockfall started sometime at night and the situation hasn't settled yet, as occasional rumbling can still be heard and dust from Vršiča is also visible.

The rockfall was today at 6:28 am. My buddy and I were walking towards the Vratice, when suddenly it starts thundering. Reflexively I looked at the sky, but I couldn't understand at all how it can thunder if the sky is clear, without a cloud. Then I see the rockfall (individual rocks were huge, because they were clearly visible, and we were a bit below the Vratice) flying towards the snowfield on Hanzova. Both of us just hoped there was no one there then. eek

The rockfall happened a bit below Škrbina and it's completely impassable and since really something flies even to the lower snowfield where the path is, I would heed the warning.

Today morning started from Erjavčeva hut towards Prisojnik. I thought to go via Slovenska path, but since I didn't feel like going to Poštarski dom I went via Kopiščarjeva path. Haven't hiked such a demanding path yet but I managed it quite nicely anyway. It would be good to refresh some faded markings. On the summit a bit windy, weather changing. Close-up views wonderful. Down via ridge path.
At Poštarski dom there could be a sign for Erjavčeva hut and the path marked. Maybe it's not marked because it goes past the water intake.

During the ascent on Hansova path to Prisojnik, we witnessed a rockfall. Luckily, we got away without injuries. We returned back through the first window. Until further notice, the passage is not safe due to falling rocks.

That's exactly the last gully below the saddle next to Hudičev steber. We waited a while, but rocks and stones were falling with short pauses.
