As you probably noticed I also stopped occasionally and photographed surrounding mountains and various details interesting to me, so I wasn't rushing excessively.

I apologize. I really made a mistake there. I'm sure almost everyone misses it the first time there. Even Primož followed us. To get a nose for direction I'll need years of experience and I look forward to them! Just running annoys me with such time loss but that's another story. Anyway we also enjoyed very slow hiking. I took over 200 photos myself. Especially the alpine roses were insanely big. The most interesting were Zois bellflowers on the Y-shaped rock right before the start of Kopiščarjeva path

Virenque wrote: Today I went to Prisojnik. Because of the fog, I didn't notice the junction to the south path and made a nice loop towards the last window and then along the north side via a 5 meter gully arrived at the intersection with the south path below the summit. Triglavski replied: First path under Zvoniki, behind Zadnji Prisojnik you joined the Jubilee path and along it to the junction with the south path. I'm interested how dangerous this section is compared to the entire Jubilee path. Is this the easiest part?

The Jubilee path over the last window looks like this: you walk on pegs (handholds) and under your feet observe in the depths spruce tops and screes.

Yesterday and today we wandered a bit in the Julian Alps and chose Prisojnik as the goal and today Mangart. Ascent to the mountain via Slovenian i.e. south, descent via ridge path offered beautiful views far around. Path all the way well marked and excellently secured. Visitors as everywhere in summer months, huge number. Lp

Hello! Which route is the most suitable for descent from Prisojnik? I plan to ascend from Razor and end the tour at Vršič. I don't know these routes, interested in suitability, nice views, crowds. I am an experienced female mountaineer, secured climbing paths are a pleasure. Just don't want to descend the path everyone ascends, constantly having to step aside. Thanks!

The most beautiful is Kopiščerjeva through the front window and also the most demanding, the easiest and fastest is the ridge one. lp

Last week I did the same tour from Pogačnik to Kriški podi over Planja saddle (below Razor) on Jubilee path to Mlinarica and Jubilee to Prisank. Path gorgeous, dynamic and divine, ascent to P. varied, you see a huge amount from south and north sides, plus through second window. We descended Slovenska, i.e. ridge to Vršič, although crowded... Enjoy!!

Angie asked about the most suitable descent path. I would suggest the southern path to her, then leisurely to Vršič with nice views. She'll have plenty of climbing fun already to the Prisojnik summit.

Hi, I'm finishing the Slovenian mountain trail and I'm missing Pogačnikov dom on Kriških podih, Razor and Prisojnik. Can you advise how to tackle this route - I mean where to go up and where down. Thanks!

First day Koča in Krnica - over Kriška stena - Razor - sleep in Pogačnik, second day Pogačnikov dom - Prisojnik - Vršič - descent. Or, if you're in good shape, even nicer is first day Vršič - Prisojnik - Jubilee path - Pogačnikov dom (sleep). Next day then Razor and under Prisojnik back to Vršič. Many do the combo Vršič - Prisojnik - Razor and descent to Pogačnik in one day. Or straight back to Vršič same day. Also very nice is path from Zadnjica to Kriške pode, especially now in autumn. Leave extra gear in hut and hop to Razor. Next day Prisojnik and to Vršič. Problem here is transport Vršič - Zadnjica (on foot loooong). Or do two tours, Razor from Vrata via Sovatna past Pogačnik, Prisojnik from Vršič. Lots of options, one better than the other.

...Very, very nice... Vršič-Prisojnik-Jubilee path-Razor-Pogačnikov dom. Sleep. Descent straight to Zadnjica and to Log for the bus that goes over Vršič to Kranjska Gora. I think it runs every hour, at least in season. Otherwise ask in Bovec or Kr. Gora. Regards

pmonci is right, that's the best variant!!! Bus from Bovec goes over Vršič to Kranjska Gora and further to the capital in September every day, leaves Bovec at 13.35 and arrives in Trenta (village) at 16.06. Just for info, good luck!

If you choose to start from Zadnjica and finish at Vršič, then hitchhiking is still valid: if you have a backpack and a tired face, really most passers-by will stop for you

Thanks for the advice, I will do this tour with my uncle, depending on the weather conditions Saturday afternoon to the hut in Krnica over Kriška stena to Pogačnik where we'll sleep, next day to Razor and Prisojnik and return to the car at the turnoff for Krnica. Nice mountain greetings

Tuesday and Wednesday were great for the mountains! Plans were somewhat crossed by my companion's inflamed knee ligament, so we scratched ascent to Razor and Prisojnik, but lower path was wonderful too. And on the whole path Krnica-Križ-Pogačnikov dom-Planja saddle-Mlinarica-Vršič we saw only a handful of people (except in the hut where 30-40 slept). Really nice tour!
