Rozka. Chains on wheels and "go". I have some to lend, but who will put them on for you on such remote roads at such early hours? Such a job is demanding even for men, let alone women. No offense.
The pictures though s5 are BEAUTIFUL.

hi,
ooo, I do have chains, but in that slope I couldn't even put them on going up, even if I wanted (knowledge of installation is not questionable, hehehe) so I practiced driving in reverse a bit , not talking about feelings in the stomach and head, hehe, because the car just went on its own...then I was lucky that the otherwise icy bend was plowed more widely and I managed to turn it around, so now I'll leave the car down in the valley, hehe, and rather walk a few more steps

Regarding chains - on my previous car I put them on up and took them off after use "in a blink of an eye". So there are only incompetent men (I even advised them on installation). No offense

I still can't choose days for now, so I went towards Raduha today. Again didn't find Radušnik in the dark in the morning, so classic my way. A bit above Struge (at one bend) left the car,
then Loka, a bit below the summit of Raduha turned back down,(2000 m on my watch), because fog started descending and brought some small snowflakes and because it was terribly windy in gusts and terribly cold. When I got to Loka down the fog lifted again. But still a very OK day.

To Miklavc (farm tourism) or further to Radušnik from Struge is still quite a drive.
Sometimes it was easy to find the left turnoff, because asphalt ended there...
At Miklavc it's easy to miss, because sharp bend right after the house—to the right. Usually we park at Miklavc, since Radušnik isn't far.

Thanks. It was really cold and windy, conditions rozka already described anyway, all true, I only had ice axe in hand, don't use poles much, tracks at individual places no longer there, due to drifted snow. To Loka quite trodden, further only individual tracks.

Hi.
Tomorrow I plan to go to Raduha and I'm interested in the path from the last farms along the road past the farms and then past the hut on Loki to the top.
Especially the depth of the snow cover.

Today we were on Raduha, nice tour with fantastic weather.
Road to Radušnik is normally drivable. Compacted snow cover starts in the forest around 1300 m, at hut on Loki cca 30 cm, further to the top the snow cover increases quickly with height...
Snow cca 30 cm powder on hard base that doesn't hold a person.
On few wind-exposed places snow is icy, but doable without crampons.

Ideal day for visiting Raduha. Perfect winter conditions. Some with crampons, some without, all reached the top and rewarded with god-like views. Let pictures say more...LP

One has to experience this, picture is another world, memory of joy meeting snow-covered Raduha. Anyone who admired view from top can confirm.
