Start at Bukovnik. Then walk 45 min to Grohot and via climbing path to Raduha (1h 15). At the top there's a sign for descent to Snežna jama (check if still open)- Arta direction. About an hour. From the cave to Koča na Loki only 10 min. From Koča na Loki head on nice path to Durce, less than 1 hour and descend to Grohot. I did this route some time ago, so times are quite approximate.zavijanje z očmi I'd say it's a nice and not too strenuous full-day hike - with long breaks.velik nasmeh

@miksmajster
Times according to markers are significantly different from what TejaB wrote.
Bukovnik-Raduha: 2.10h
Raduha-Snežna jama: 1.20h
Snežna jama-Koča na Loki: 0.40h
Koča na Loki-Durce: 1h
Durce-Bukovnik: 1.20h
Total according to markers 6.30h or 6-7h walking. Now you can estimate the time needed for this tour yourself.
Best regards from under the beautiful Mozirska planina, Janez.

Velika Raduha – second time past Bukovnik over Durce; many years ago, my first encounter with a slightly bigger hill, used to local "pukolčki" like Vimperk, Gora Oljka, Mrzlica; ugh, what an unpleasant and especially looong path winding through rocks and bushes towards the summit- of course from Koča na Loki; but still, that's when I got hooked on mountaineering; over the fear-inducing Durce, no way, I didn't even dare think about it; now they've carefully arranged one path over Durce even for ordinary "mortals", the very demanding one remains for adrenaline seekers; pleasant victorious feeling when you step under the mighty wall of Raduha on a well-maintained path- OVER DURCE!!!; on Saturday it was again a beautiful day for it… a bit muddy and slippery, in the upper part of the path exit from Durce even a bit frozen; larches in full swing changing color and gilding nature; full of visitors from all directions, but due to cold wind most didn't stay long at the summit itself; views, uniquemežikanje, like everywhere in the mountains that day; on the way back a very nice young couple A+M kept us company; thanks; also tea in Koča na Grohotu and back to civilization. P.S. Maybe this route should be fully presented anew on the forum; lp

Today I climbed Raduha with my mom via the secured path. Then we descended to Durce and to Lanež, where we looked for the exit from Hojnikova path, which we plan for next ascent to Lanež or Raduha. Unfortunately visibility was very poor due to fog, but we still saw some things. On descent over Plaz we noticed quite a few fresh broken stones, and not a few we saw (heard) flying over the north wall and then rolling down the slope. North side of Raduha was completely "empty" today, only at the top we met a mountaineer who probably ascended from Loka. Raduha didn't disappoint me today either.

Today, on a nice day, I tried to use it for ascent via the secured path to Raduha. Snow line starts somewhere at Koča na Grohotu, where there's about 10-15 cm snow. Up to the wall entry everything was without issues (few days old track), but the wall itself under snow (up to 25-30cm in places) was icy with a few mm thick ice. Despite winter gear, it slipped almost twice, so just below second belay I turned back.
As much as I could see, the path over Durce is doable under snow, but trodden. South slopes looked only partially snowy, at least from the valley.

I see they've removed the pre-election posters on the hut in the second picture, which proposed Dodi again for mayor of Grohot :>
From your words I can conclude that the new path past Durce is passable without winter gear (ice axe, crampons)?

is the road to Bukovnik farm normally passable?

Yes, the road is passable.
I tried yesterday to reach the summit from Grohata, but towards Durc it was already too avalanche-prone for safe crossing. Some smaller avalanches have already triggered, snow is up to waist in some places.

Matterhorn, wonderful photos. WONDERFUL. Too bad the northern slope of Raduha is so avalanche-prone... If it weren't, I'd visit it myself in winter conditions from the north side asap. Looks like we need to wait a bit longer for safe conditions.

Is there still any snow on Raduha? I'm especially interested in the north face (climbing route).

On Saturday 6.11. we were on Raduha from Bukovnik. On the climbing path in the upper part some snow patches, nothing special, no winter gear needed. South slopes completely dry, wonderful weather, sun, no wind, foggy carpet below nasmeh

Today from the hut on Loki, past Durc, to the sunny Raduha. Snow is just a trace, but enough for slips, caution is needed. Views today only to the neighbors, the others, KSA, more covered by clouds. I returned via the Arta pasture, the path is dry. The day was sunny and veeery warm...nasmeh

In Šentjanž the thermometer showed -18.5°C in the morning. I told my friend if it drops below -20°C I'll just turn back, but luckily it didn't. At 7 we parked at sp. Možič. The landlady
was just feeding sheep in the barn, we chatted a bit then we headed to Radušnik right along the road. Further on we enjoyed the virgin whiteness. Despite plenty of snow we progressed quite quickly. Initially the plan was only Lanež, but on Loki Raduha tempted us. For the conquered summit we were rewarded with great skiing from its top. So we went to ski the roof of Raduha once more. Then we climbed to Mala Raduha and skied twice from it too. Crazy, crazy and once again crazy good skiing. Followed by good skiing all the way to the car.
Nice greetings from under the beautiful Golts, Janez.
