Arnič's hike to Raduha!
Nice sunny day. Almost no wind (blowing hard in the valley). Some postholing but no issues on the path. Lots of summit visitors on Raduha. Still plenty of snow, getting wetter and softer every hour.
Forecast was cloudy and I didn't use sun cream.
Result: completely sunburned face!!

In Struga turn right and the road is normally drivable to the turnoff to the last farms (to the end of asphalt). From here cca 1:30 hours to the hut on Loki. Have a nice time and Lp

Yesterday we drove from village Struga by car to end of asphalt road, then on foot to planina Loka. Never seen so much cow dung in my life! Little snow on planina Loka, we headed towards Raduha. Though nice weather forecast, fog all the way. Little below summit on M.Raduha some sun showed. Due to high temps snow got softer and wetter (sunk deep due to crust), wisely turned back. Good training!

23.4.2010 Bukovnik Farm - Planina Grohat - Durce - Mala Raduha. The amount of snow varies greatly from a few cm to over a meter. Above Grohat, the snow still holds reasonably well, but above Durce it gives way completely, so I turned back at Mala Raduha too. A few meters below Durce there are patches of thick ice, so the ice axe barely goes through. Warning: rocks are falling from the wall above the gully below Durce... recommend helmet.

For all those going to Raduha from Loka in the coming days... the road is dry and drivable to the hut on Loki, don't get scared by some mud on the road big

This morning on Raduha, real winter and then some -1°C with occasional snowfall and very strong wind. On the top it was blowing so hard I couldn't stay long or it would blow me away. New snow starts above Loka then more and more up to knees mostly drifted, on top it's blown away and all iced over but walkable, thin ice layer.
