Today we were on Raduha from Loka and the path is dry (snow is only left in some hollows).
We noticed a discarded needle on the parking under Loka, so need to be a bit careful there...

On Sunday 25.5., my husband and I went up the north wall to Raduha and it was excellent. Here and there were some snow patches, but they were perfectly passable. Despite the cloudy weather, the view was excellent. Back we went via Durce, nothing special. But it's super when around the hut and the path are full of bellflowers, young dandelions and first shoots on trees, like being moved a few months back.

29.5 from Bukovnik via the climbing path. Some snowfields still to cross, still possible to hit ice patches. Recommend ice axe use, didn't need crampons myself. Descent via Durce... no panic. Safe hiking  )

At 7:00 at Sp. Sleme parking. Past Bukovnik to the hut at Grohat. Due to the hutkeeper's illness, the hut is closed today, so I head on up the climbing path to the summit, which I reach at 10:00. Given the fog and low clouds, I quickly headed back down through Durce to the valley. On the way I met path markers who are laying a new path through Durce, as the old one is completely ruined. Back at parking at 12:00.

Yesterday on Raduha. Bukovnik, to summit via climbing path, descent to hut at Loka, ascent to Durce and to car.
Weather fantastic, no wind, ascent to Durce almost too hot.
Climbing path top notch, descent through Durce very slippery. Whole path newly marked.
Only remark on the sign just below summit, where path to Grohot not marked as VERY DIFFICULT, which can be very dangerous for many.
At Grohot hut ate excellent barley soup.

If this path got difficulty very difficult, then a whole series of path difficulties that are more difficult than this one, but marked only as difficult, would have to change.
Even comparing the path to Peca, marked with triangle - which is very difficult - climbing path and path to Kranjska hut via Slovenska path, which has only difficult mark, but is quite more demanding than to Peca, shows criteria are not the same.
However, path difficulty is quite relative, fully dependent on the individual. I myself sometimes disagree with path marks, but don't worry about it anymore.

I agree, but the direction points to the climbing path towards Grohot (here on hribi.net marked as very difficult), for Durce we have to follow the direction Hut at Loka at the first sign.
I think the climbing path is not suitable for everyone, especially on descent.

This path I've hiked twice already - if we're talking climbing path, once even in wet, which worsens conditions, and also from Loka twice, descent always via Durce. True first part or start of Durce is more demanding, then joyful - down scree.
Don't know, maybe I don't understand where the issues are... with signs - that's what I commented above.
Need to try as many such paths as possible, then everyone can compare for themselves.

PS. Maybe you mean marks at the very summit when descending?
Here I admit I can't claim to know about the signs, as Raduha summit conquered 5 times already (also via Lanež), descent once over Arta highland, so I know the paths and don't look at signs anymore.

On the new sign towards Grohot there is a triangle with exclamation mark. That means "very difficult path"! LP

Raduha, always interesting, this time midweek and no crowds, old path over Durce closed, new one made which goes more under Lanež. Path well maintained and we used it for descent. And at end need to go to Bukovnik farm for skuta, mushroom pickers already at work.

Hello,
I'm interested in the best way to circle all these huts and where to best start. I'd like to visit all in one go: Koča na Grohotu, Velika Raduha, Koča na Loki and Snežna jama. Raduha - Grohot via the climbing path. And time-wise, has anyone done it? thanks
