Rinke today, nice day, path ok except Turski žleb (falling rocks) - Helmet mandatory - saved me today.
Hard not to trigger something,
which can be fatal for those below. Anyone thought of making a climbing route to the top of the gully?
Just for safety. To Križ and Kranjska Rinka need to cross snowfields.

If you continue along the wall to the top (and don't cross the scree straight across) and then again under the overhangs to the left, you'll save many inconveniences for yourself, especially for those behind you.

Today, as far as I know, all crossed properly along the wall... but you can get a rock on your head even on the secured path!

In Kokec over Žmavčarje to the bivouac under Skuta. From the bivouac over Mali Podi first to Koroška Rinka (Križ), then Kranjska and on the way back also Štajerska Rinka. Still quite some snowfields under the Rinkas, ice axe handy. Weather: sun, fog and sun again to light wind. First time on Rinkas so I had a nice time, though Žmavčarji don't let you breathe much. Steep, crumbly, nasty. Counted about 15 hikers. Refreshment at Kamniška Bistrica spring.

Under Rinkas and on the SE part of Skuta there is still quite a lot of snow, we saw that yesterday from Brana. It looks like "ordinary" hikers will have to wait a bit longer with them. nasmeh

Yesterday with friend to Križ (Okrešelj, Mrzli dol, Rinke, Savinjsko sedlo, Rinka waterfall). Weather foggy, at the top blowing like lightning, no view, but unique path. On descent (from the top) wet cables due to fog (almost icy) so had to be careful. Snow doesn't obstruct except towards S. sedlo crossing, where it goes without ice axe, of course carefully. Super! nasmeh

Anyone going Sunday to Rinke from Konca over Žmavcarija.

Today was a wonderful day on the Rinke, lots of hikers. Did a circular tour Okrešelj, Mrzli dol, Križ and the rest of the quartet and descended through Turski žleb. Conditions excellent, note that on the Jezersko side of the path there was lots of frozen snow, so without winter gear the path is demanding, especially on the descent.

Yesterday I set out on the trail to visit all three Rinke. I started the trail in Konec and through Žmavčarje to the bivouac under Skuta and then across Male pode to Rinke. The weather forecast was ideal and beautiful for hiking in the mountains. Unfortunately, there weren't many hikers to take advantage of such a nice Saturday in the beautiful nature and beautiful views of the surrounding peaks and valleys.

It took me one hour and fifteen minutes for the path from Križ to Mala Rinke (so for all four Rinke), and I took a lot of photos and searched for the path a bit.

Greetings, the time span between the Rinke is 15 minutes depending on walking speed and the individual's fitness :-)

It took me approximately an hour for all three, and there was quite a lot of snow. See pictures /tinky/; the times are on the pictures.

There are 4 Rinke: Koroška, Kranjska, Štajerska and Mala. Realistically speaking, you can go from Koroška Rinke to the other 3 in a good hour; they are fairly close together, but you have to go a bit up and down on a path full of stones and scree. wink

On Friday, a wonderful day, which I used to visit KSA. From Logarska dolina to Okrešelj and through Turski žleb to Male pode, then all 4 rinke by size - Kranjska, Koroška, Štajerska, Mala from there also to Turska gora and descent over Kotliče down the gully back to Okrešelj and into Logarska dolina. Beautiful weather - sun, clear, beautiful views far around, on the peaks light wind that strengthened a bit in the afternoon but nothing serious. This time I found the path to Kranjska rinka, markings across Male pode are hard to follow so I bushwhacked directly under the mountain, then up beside it and reached the marked path. On the way back the other three rinke and Turska gora. Descent over Kotliče, where there's huge scree on the secured path, even more in the gully so the descent was quite eventful. rolling
