From the spring onwards, short crossing of the snowfield, higher above the pines still quite snowy.

Here the path from Krma isn't visible, more cliffs from the climbing path from Kot. For the path from Krma you need a pic of the east side of Rjavina. Sorry ...

Conditions from Kot last weekend:
At 2000m (before junction to Stanič hut and via ferrata to Rjavina) approx 500m gentle snowfields. Crampons not really necessary, but faster with them. Via ferrata crosses steep snow gully at two spots. Ice axe or 20m rope (if two) recommended.

Late afternoon on Saturday 18.10 from Vrata via Tominškova to bivouac at Stanič Hut. Sunday 19.10 early morning dash to Rjavina summit - to catch sunrise. Descended behind Cmir Wonderful weekend.
