I'm posting a quite extensive photo report on the topic of crosses, chapels and churches. I photographed all this on the partially walked Župančičeva pešpot from the village Beljči vrh to Vinica. This time I managed to find out to whom the churches are dedicated and for the first time I thoroughly paid attention to the stations of the Way of the Cross. The chapels are renovated - but the stations are not yet numbered. There are wonderful frescoes in the chapels. Unfortunately I managed to photograph the interior of the Way of the Cross chapels with wonderful paintings only from the eighth station to the first station. It seems that these are still old paintings. Both chapels at the beginning of the Way of the Cross are still being renovated and I don't know exactly to whom each is dedicated.

Subsidiary church in the village Beljči vrh dedicated to St. Helena.

There are some frescoes on the walls which they will apparently restore.

Chapel in the village. Most are dedicated to Mary, the Holy Family and other apostles or saints.

This chapel is already behind the village on the meadow.

Branch church in the village Hrast pri Vinici. Dedicated to St. Roch.

Church on the hillock Žeželj. Dedicated to Mary and called the Church of the Mother of God - it is a Marian pilgrimage church.

Cross at the monument in front of the church.

Below the church is the 14th chapel of the Way of the Cross. This seems to be the 11th station - I didn't know we would go down here. - Jesus is nailed to the cross.

This is the 10th station - They strip Jesus and give him vinegar mixed with gall to drink. That's why I ran to the ninth station and just photographed them.

13th station - Jesus is taken down from the cross and handed over to his mother Mary.

14th station - Jesus is laid in the tomb.

8th station - Jesus consoles the women of Jerusalem. A bit of confusion with the stations because I photographed them twice.

From this station I also photographed the frescoes in the chapels.

I skipped ahead a bit - 9th station - Jesus falls for the third time under the cross. I photographed the frescoes in the chapels from the 8th station towards the 1st.

7th station - Jesus falls for the second time under the cross.

6th station - Veronica gives Jesus a cloth for sweat.

4th station - Jesus meets his sorrowful mother.

3rd station - Jesus falls for the first time under the cross.

2nd station - Jesus takes the cross on his shoulder.

1st station - Pilate condemns Jesus to death.

At the beginning of the Way of the Cross there is one chapel on each side. Both are being renovated.

One is dedicated to Mary Help of Christians, the other to Jesus on the Mount of Olives.

First chapel in the village Golec near Vinica.

Parish church in Vinica - named Exaltation of the Holy Cross.

Another church in Vinica - dedicated to St. Michael.

Station No. 6 - Veronica gives Jesus the sweat cloth. The photo somehow got lost.

Station No. 4 - Jesus meets his sorrowful mother. Unfortunately up to No.8 I did not photograph the interiors of the chapels, because only at the 8th station I realized how beautifully painted they are.

Somehow I missed the 5th station - Simon of Cyrene helps Jesus carry the cross.

From yesterday's hike of the retirees hiking group Četrkovci PD Škofja Loka from Kamna Gorica, to Pusti grad and further to Šobec.

Church of the Holy Trinity in Kamni Gorica.

Chapels of the Way of the Cross lead from the valley under Kriko goro to the church. This is the penultimate 13..14. even in the church.

From today's hike to Žingarica-Singerberg.

Cross at the viewpoint behind the saddle Albnik-Halbingsattel-1360m.

More a memorial to the deceased than a cross before Plajberk.

It seems like a memorial to the dead in the nearby mine in 1817.

Again such a memorial - we don't have that, so to speak.

From yesterday's five-hour hike from village Kandrše to Limbarska gora. Somehow we move in the area of two municipalities-Zagorje ob Savi and Moravče. We went up through village Kandrše, Dolgo brdo, Vrh pri Mlinšah, through part of Peče, Tlačnica, Hrastnik, then on European path E6 which starts for us from Golčaj to Limbarska gora. Back on the other side through villages Peče, Pretrž, Križate. After village Križate we reach again village Dolgo brdo. On this path we will only encounter four churches and plenty of chapels and crosses. I will now present this along the path.
