Yesterday 15.9. in a clear morning we started the tour at Aljažev dom. Through forest and scrub we continued to bivouac IV, then headed towards Škrlatica. This part of the path is relatively flat with nice views. Then we walked on scree, where we searched for marks for entry into the wall. We found that entry into the wall is possible at several spots from the scree. The climbing part of the path is quite demanding and recommended for experienced hikers. On the top there was strong wind in gusts, so despite great views we quickly turned back. The weather was clear all the time, on the way back strong wind accompanied us constantly. The path is long and for us not among the most interesting, as it drags a bit at times. We noticed that in the high mountains it's already real autumn, so it's recommended to bring more warm clothes. Today from Vrata past bivouac IV we ascended to Škrlatica. Before wall entry there are still snow patches, but they can be safely crossed without winter gear.

On 4.7. I was at the top. On the path from Vrata there are still some snow patches, but now they are much smaller and can be crossed without problems or even bypassed. On the scree itself it's not pleasant to go up, but for now it's the only option besides the snow. Just stick to the right scree and soon the entry to the wall will be in front of you (on the right).

Otherwise I was alone at the top, although Vrata was full of cars. It seems few decide to visit this beauty. mežikanje

I assume you're referring to the descriptions? Yes, on the 13th photo it's really not Križ, but Dolkova špica. Sorry and thanks for pointing it out. I'll fix it. On the 17th Prisojnik and Jalovec are indeed visible, along with Rogljica and Rakova špica, so no mistake there. jezik

Lots of visitors on the summit today, on descent a bit below the summit met the former prime minister, wasn't surprised at all since he hikes a lot. As for yesterday's weather forecast it held until 10am, then fog and light rain so had to be careful on descent. Fixed ropes ok, markings freshly painted velik nasmeh

On Sunday 31.07.2011 despite ARSO's bad forecast we visited Skrlatica, no precipitation and finally fourth time on summit without fog with wonderful view. Lots of photos on PD Matica M Sobota.

Razor and Prisojnik, in the middle Bavški Grintavec.

Yesterday, 2.8. I finally managed to visit Skrlatica too. nasmeh

Nice weather, great company.... Fantastic views, occasionally fog rolled in but left as fast... otherwise sun, no wind...
Hard to pick a better day nasmeh
